Dungarees in Japan

From around the start of the First World War until the 1990s, junior enlisted sailors wore dungarees while working on the ships. American warships can be found at most major American ports along the east and west coasts and Hawaii. They can even be found in Japan. Yokosuka, Japan was my first home away from my hometown in South Carolina. This blog's purpose is to blend a revisit of the dungaree days on the aircraft carrier with the contemporary ongoing of life in the US and Japan.
