Check out this Video by Ford & Brown Nice work fellas, thanks for the storytelling.
An off-the-grid refuge made from volcanic cinder blends into its remote Western setting.
We are humbled once again at the nod. Many thanks to the crew, client, Jeff Goldberg and the folks at ESTO, and to Architectural Record for the feature.
check out this film Jay Ritchey did for us on our recently completed project Casa Caldera. Music by our longtime collaborator and spiritworld dweller Caleb Coy /Headdress
Fortunate and gratefull to have these humans in the conversation.
Jay, I have to say, is an all-around-bad-ass. Along with working along side of us from footers to the finishes, pushing a wheel barrow, swinging a hammer, making sure coffee was made, making sure tecate was not wasted, capturing video (to make this and other bad ass films), providing moral support when shit got rough...all this in his spare time! I’m not sure this video could’ve been any sweeter....
Welcome back to The Architect's City, a monthly series inviting an emerging architect to reimagine an existing structure in his or her city, submitting a speculative proposal for Curbed readers....
Check out this video from collaborator, photographer, videographer, and friend Jay Ritchey, done for the fine group of fellas at Baer Joinery
