x Hey I know how personal it gets, you have that f/o for a reason, they been there for you, you claim them as your own.

x I know how bum some you can get from seeing someone else ship with them (not personally but I get ya babe)

x But think about it like this

x You guys might ship with the same version and personality of said f/o. But you two have two different reasons for shipping and story lines that you put into your ship. They do A B C D while you’re over here doing  W X Y Z. You guys are so close yet so far away.

x No that doesn’t mean your f/o doesn’t love you

x No it doesn’t mean your ship isn’t valid 

x Yes it does mean someone out there is just as happy and safe as you. No one likes seeing each other hurt, it’s hard out here, and if your f/o can bring sunlight to your life then one little sliver of light can shine on that other person.

x No you do not have to talk to them but you do have to be respectful, maybe they feel the same way. You never know they might actually think you’re cool for having great taste too

x I never got the idea of the “ I do not share” thing but I know what it means to most people. I highly respect that. 

x Just remember someone with the same f/o will come across your work and think you are so cool and awesome and brave for posting your things and wanna reach out and high five you and gush over how awesome said character(s) are. Just don’t be a meanie pants.
