I just wanted to show something unsettling and also reveal Ren as a guy who can be cunning and selfish at times you know, someone trying to turn a nightmare to his own advantage, even if it’s morally questionable. I mean, he doesn't actually *want* to hurt anyone, but... well, nobody said anything about other things

May I please get some advices from you when it comes to drawing body scars and wounds? Especially when you draw scars on Ren's and Mia's body. Also, when it comes to perspective, how do you know where and how the scars looks like?

I do it totally at random because, for now, I’m just too lazy to draw a "scar map" for the two of them

Well, to be precise, Ren *does* have scars you could piece them together from Gato’s drawings and for Mia, I came up with a couple of main scars that I always include, but as for the rest... they’re completely random, just a case of "wherever my hand lands"

Here are a couple of the main scars I draw: the heart-shaped scar on Mia cut into her in retaliation for a nasty bite and the one on the back of Ren's neck

Plus, there are many scars on Mia's neck from attempts to remove Strade's collar

I customized my pencil tool a while back and added a texture from a favorite brush I used to use when I drew in Paint Tool SAI
