The shelter was recovering after the electric eel attack. The Earth 1 people had returned to their dimension, and Kim Rok Soo is currently trying to adjust to the new fame, awe, and respect people now gave him, courtesy of his alternate self.
People still believe he has "premonition" but he knows better. The Soos knows, and he guess even Park Jin Tae is in the secret now? Whatever. Point is, he doesn't have premonition, he just have his alternate self's memories for up to 15 years in the future. At least, that's what's it was supposed to be.
But one day, in the middle of the cafeteria, he stopped eating, his chopsticks clattering on the table and his face turned blank. They tried to get his attention, tried to get a reaction, starting to worry when he doesn't respond.
The worry spikes when a drop of blood suddenly drips from his eye, and another from his other eye, creating red streaks on his face.
Just as people starts panicking around him, Kim Rok Soo opened his mouth and spoke, his voice devoid of emotion.
"Incident report, date: XX/XX/XXXX, reported by: Lee Soo Hyuk...."
Huh??? What is the commander talking about now? A report? And the date ...
It's two weeks in the future.
"...3rd Exploration Expedition to XXX consists of 15 members including myself..."
The exploration members perk up at this. The expedition itself was nothing special, just a routine mission of searching for survivors and resources.
Nevertheless, they pay close attention to what Kim Rok Soo was about to say. This is, after all, the first time they witness his famed "Premonition" ability.
"...on the 2nd day of the expedition, we encountered a nest of arachnid monsters ..."
Dread started pooling in their hearts. That.... doesn't sound good.
"...we retaliated as much as we can, but there were too many of them. The members were picked off one by one by their jaws...."
Blood started dripping from his nose too, but nobody tried to wipe it. They were too occupied with terror.
"...we barely managed to escape by sheer luck..."
His food in front of him is now stained in blood
"...Number of survivors: 4. Number of casualties: 8. Status unknown: 3. Names of survivors...."
The expedition members flinched one by one when they hear their names. Some were surprised, most were horrified, a few even started mourning even though nobody had died yet.
"... remaining expedition team immediately returned back to the shelter. End of report."
His eyes rolled back and Lee Soo Hyuk caught him before he fell. His mind far too chaotic for him to do anything else.
"Lee Soo Hyuk," the voice startled him and he looked towards the shelter leader.
"Looks like we have to cancel the expedition"
