Suguru had exited his townhouse and was walking down the strip of them, when he saw an old friend. Making him stop dead in his tracks. He had been thinking of her over and over again.
The smell of cigarettes making memories flicker through his thoughts. And now... she was in a townhouse just down the row from him.
His feet made him move again. Nearly running to catch her and make sure she was real.
The last thing she could recall was resting her eyes for a brief moment within the morgue, the scent of formaldehyde and human remains being something Shoko was practically nose blind to at this point.
Now she was somewhere completely different, in a townhouse of all places. Maybe it was some strange dream? Shoko couldn't recall the last time she was lucid enough in her dreams to feel the weight of her body, though.
Then, her name is called.
Not only is her name called, but she recognized the voice.
There's a slow turn of her body in that direction, and fear briefly flashes over her expression at being met with the visage of someone long dead in her memory.
The line repeats over and over in her mind, eyes searching for some sort of explanation. Shoko's chest is tight, hesitant to speak to the specter before her, only able to croak out a response that almost dies in that throat the instant it's whispered.
