@oovertime: A Novel Idea
Grand shelves with books rose to the ceiling of a Great Library. A place his wives would have dragged him to for research. A place he found himself wandering through like a lost puppy. Pulling a thinner-bound book from a shelf and bee-lining to a comfy-looking sofa to flop his entire body onto long ways.
even going so far as to kick his feet up and rest them on the arm of it. Zero consideration for anyone else to have a seat there since there were plenty of others.
Speaking of other chairs.
His eyes drift over to another sitting in one of them. Blond hair, hazel eyes, sharply dressed even if in more casual attire.
"Hey- you over there. What kind of books do you read? This one I found is about some guys with powers and freaky things called curses. Some handbook thing. Booooooriiiiing~"
Nanami had decided to go to the library, to pick up some titles he'd researched online. There was no reason why he shouldn't use it, he decided, if it was going to be open for the summer. Though he hadn't had the time to visit one since he was in school.
The air was...familiar, he supposed. He'd decided to read some historical fiction, something his mother had a love for. She enjoyed art history as well, but that would be for another time.
Would he ever get to go back? He was more than likely declared legally dead. His body certainly felt real, but there was no guaruntee he wouldn't dissolve in a puff of smoke if he exited this place.
Still. It would be nice to talk to his mother about the things she loved.
He had found a table to sit at, when someone called out across the library. Nanami's eyebrow twitched. There was no way he was being called out at. Nobody did that in a library.
The question, however, did catch his attention.
It could be some sort of grimoire, he supposed, but there was no way to be certain without asking.
"What kind of curses are you talking about?" He asked, getting up to approach the...very tall man.
