(This blog totally wasn't dead for a while what are you talking about

But hey! I kinda abandoned Flash since I couldn't get much activity on him, and sometimes I just sit there not knowing how to write him.

Might re-boot this blog or something. Not really re-boot but change it up I guess, IDK.)

"The original Time Man was made by Dr. Light." Time Man clasped his hands behind his back and rocked between his heels and the tips of his boots. "He and his dumb brother were part of an experimental line. My original was supposed to be a research robot. DLN-00B is an oil-based robot- which I don’t get why he was experimental. It’s not like oil is a new thing." He shrugged.

"Master made a whole line of copies out of the DLN line- and the experimental line. We were supposed to take down our originals, but that didn’t work out too well." Time Man pouted slightly at the memory.

He lit up when he said Flash Man was curious about him as well- vivid optics literally getting a little brighter. “Hehe! Well now you have- so what’s your weapon like? My Time Slow slows down whatever I want it to- a specific target or a whole area if I want it to.”

"Ah, that makes sense, kid." Flash said. "Explains why I didn't know about 'em. I don't pay too much attention to what 'bots Dr. Light makes, since Master Wily usually has Shadowman do that kind of stuff." He raised an eyebrow.

"Huh. Never heard about that fight."

He listened closely as the copy described his weapon. "Heh, that sounds like a prototype of my weapon." He raised his Time Stopper for the copy to see, waving it around a bit. "My weapon is the Time Stopper; I can freeze time in a whole area or freeze a singular person in time if I want to. To them, it looks like I'm teleporting."

Flash smirked, looking down at the much smaller robot. "Bombman, right? To what do I owe the displeasure of seeing you around here?"

"I’m your prototype." Time Man was comfortable calling himself this, as the word by itself didn’t have so many negative connotations as other robots seemed to treat it with. What was wrong with being the predecessor? It was like being a wise elder… as long as the prototype itself was actually smart, of course, which Time Man did consider himself to be. "Or… a copy of your prototype, actually."

There were a number of things from Flash’s design that intrigued him. Being built for combat instead of research, for example- well, he knew the entire second line was supposed to be entirely combat-based, but the element of time was hardly a weapon. It made Time Man curious enough to scan Flash’s capabilities. Oh- he had a minigun. Okay. Another thing that intrigued him, though, was what was the difference between their weapons. A scan didn’t tell him that. He hadn’t looked at the writing on the blueprints, Dr. Wily had shooed him off before he could.

"My name is Time Man, same as the original." Time Man gave a childish smile, even though he wasn’t the least bit certain of how to think of Flash Man. "I was curious what you would be like. I’ve seen your blueprints."

Flashman raised an eyebrow. "I wasn't aware that Master Wily had made you before he made me..."

Then, Timeman said "Same as the original." Wait, what? Flash tilted his head, staring at the other quizzically before it clicked: A copy.

"Master Wily made another copy robot, huh? I can't imagine why." The last one had failed miserably, so what was the point in another? "Who created the original?"

He did answer the copy's question, however, a moment later. "You were curious about me?" He grinned. "I'm curious about you as well; I've yet to see another Robot Master who's based purely around the concept of time." Well, aside from Quick, but that was rather loose in comparison to Flash.

Besides, Quick was an asshole.

"That's funny." Flash laughed, "You were so willing to fight Megaman all those times, and the Stardroids-- When did you become a neat freak?" The frown nor Treble intimidated Flash. The grin still remained on his face.

"So do you want a fight or not?"

Recognizing Flash from the blueprints Time had seen over Dr. Wily's shoulder, he approaches the larger DWN and tugs on his arm. "So you're the finished product?"

Flash blinked when he was tugged on the arm, having not expected it. He glanced down at the little robot, one eye narrowing in confusion. He didn’t recognize this one…

A quick scan didn’t help all that much either. He didn’t get a serial number he recognized…But what he did get (from both the scan and the general appearance of the other) was that this robot had something to do with time. Huh.

"It depends on what you mean by that." He said, not really bothering to kneel down in order to get to Timeman’s height.. "Who’re you, kid?"

"Please, don't flatter yourself. Your bullets couldn't even scratch me." Bass crossed his arms, sneering. Treble stood at his side, snarling.

Flash only grinned, placing his hand on his hip. “Maybe not, but you can’t do a damn thing against my Time Stopper. Would you like a demonstration?”

Flashman, what do you think of shadowman and the other third numbers?

"They’re alright, I guess. Shadow is a dork, Top is…Top. Snake I actually get along okay with, and Hard doesn’t talk all that much. He’s a pretty intimidating guy, especially to humans, ha ha! Magnet’s boring. Spark needs a longer attention span, but otherwise he’s a pretty good kid. Gemini’s fucking full of himself like you wouldn’t believe, and Needle I couldn’t care less about."

Crash was going to greet him in kind, but he paused when he heard the other’s question. “Huh? What’dya mean? I’ve always been this young!” He pouted slightly, drills coming to his chest.

Maybe he was another alternate? There seemed to be a lot of those around lately…

"...No, you haven't." Flash said, tilting his head. This was more than a, and he was absolutely positive that he didn't recall his brother looking so young.

Running a scan on him, he found that the robot standing before him...Wasn't the same as the one he was used to. This caused him to blink a few times, stunned. What the hell was going on??

"...Your schematics aren't the same as before. Did Wily re-make you?" He wouldn't know why if that was the case, unless Crash had somehow been destroyed. Even then, why go through so many changes if that was the case?

"Of course." Omega replied, reaching to grab his buster, and pointing it at the elder bot. "There’s no way you can kill me~" He said with a grin. He knew all well that in this state he would… probably die.

"You've never heard of me before, have you? What I can do? Or should I...Demonstrate?"
