Stephanie Gilmore​, Mexico. this day was about as good as it gets… a long hike through jungle and across sand dunes delivered us to a firing point break, with maybe 4 people out (1 being Tom Curren). between escaping the sweltering heat and watching Steph pick of perfect barrels, I don’t think I’ve ever had more fun swimming against a ripping current and worrying about swarms of sea lice. they say “every dog has its day”, and this day Steph surfed to a level I’ve never seen before. epic times in the deepest reaches of Central America…
