Beth Nimmo, the mother of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim killed during the Columbine school shooting, addresses the press after copies of the crime scene had been made available to the public. She holds a copy of the tape in hand. Originally, copies of the crime scene were created a year after the mass shooting to be used for training for emergency responders. The footage, which had music edited in, eventually made its way to the media and general public a year after the shooting, where it could be purchased for $25. Nimmo was horrified that images of hers lifeless daughter’s body being dragged to a fire engine were now easily obtainable to just about anyone. It was the first time she had seen that footage herself.
“Rachel was a dignified girl. It’s very humiliating what they’re doing,” Nimmo tearfully said. “It just crushed me to know that the whole world will see my daughter’s body being handled.”
That is CRIMINAL to send him back! That judge must be republican
Yo if a child is crying this hard and begging not to go back to their mother’s house, SOMETHING IS CLEARLY WRONG. Protect the kids, man. Smh….
Oh no… my heart aches
Poor baby, hurts me bc this is everyday shit…

According to this, the dad got in trouble for illegally taking Mikey to Massachusetts without checking with the Illinois judge. They’re trying to terminate the dad’s parental rights because they’re claiming he kidnapped his kid- that he had primary custody of- and instead returning him to his mom who not only demonstrably physically abused him, but it running a fucking meth house. It’s fucking wild.

I know the video is upsetting (I don’t recommend turning on the audio, especially if you’re quite a sensitive soul like me) but please, PLEASE share this. That little boy needs to be somewhere he will be loved and protected… Which is NOT with his mother. Signal boosting the fuck outta this as they’re only 4k off 75k signatures!
I don’t usually post shit like this, but this kid needs help. I know people that have felt that kid of fear towards a parent, and that is not love.
This is fucked. I know people who’ve been through this shit and I don’t want others to go through with it anymore. This is a horrible, pathetic excuse of a mother and she needs to be arrested.
Upon living in the Oxford apartments with Jeffrey Dahmer, many neighbors had indications other than the rancid smell of rotting flesh to let them know that Dahmer was living in their midst.
Aaron Whitehead, a fellow who resided in the apartment directly below Dahmer’s, would often be awakened in the middle of the night by powerful pounding and commotion overhead resonating from Dahmer’s apartment. “One night”, he confided to a neighbor, “I heard what sounded like a kid up there. He was crying like his mother had just walloped him. Then I heard a big falling sound- just like he was being hurt, or something,“ (page 41, “Step Into My Parlor” Baumann) “He’s a strange one all right,” the other tenant agreed. “I swear I heard sawing goin’ on up there the other night. One o’ them electric power saws. He must be building something, but I swear, how’s he expect people to sleep?” (page 41, “Step Into My Parlor” Baumann)
“Years later, Byron told me he’d mistaken his father’s voice for his brother’s. For one joyful moment, he thought Dylan was calling to tell him he was fine, and that the entire day had been a huge misunderstanding.”

BREAKING: Manson family member Leslie Van Houten has just been granted parole
A member of cult leader Charles Manson’s family has been recommended for parole by a California board today, which means that she could finally be released after having served more than 40 years in prison. Now 68, Van Houten was sentenced to life in prison for the grisly murders of married couple Leno and Rosemary La Bianca in 1969, when she was just 19 years old. She has been denied parole several times before. The governor of California, Jerry Brown, has 120 days to either affirm, reverse, or take no action against the parole board’s decision.

A few days before Halloween in 2014, citizens on a Long Island development witnessed a man dragging a decapitated body out of his apartment and then kick the decapitated head across the street before walking off. The witnesses all believed it to be a Halloween prank and thought nothing of it, until one neighbour decided he would move it from the middle of the road - to his horror, it wasn’t a fake body but a real one; that of 66-year-old Patricia Ward. Considering the body had laid out in the road for a while, the authorities had already received a phone call that night about another dead body being found on some nearby train tracks - 35-year-old Derek Ward, Patricia’s son. An investigation discovered that he had beheaded his mother before jumping in front of an incoming train.

The sexualization of teenagers in media.
Lately, I’ve noticed that there seems to be an issue pertaining the sexualization of teenagers in tv. One of the most disturbing trends being underage high school students dating an authority figure, or someone with whom it is illegal for them to sleep with. Shows like pretty little liars are targeting a teenage audience and romanticizing statutory rape. Debatably, it’s disturbing that tv shows are sexualizing teenagers at all. Most of the writers are grown adults, writing about 14+ year olds getting drunk, high and having sex. The concept as a whole is gross. I understand that some don’t agree with my previous statement, but you can’t disagree that romanticizing statutory rape is gross. Here’s some examples solely from pretty little liars, to show how prevalent these relationships are.
Pretty Little Liars - Ezria: Aria was 16, Ezra was 22 (teacher-student relationship which is illegal in most places because a teacher is in a position of authority).
Pretty Little Liars - Wrencer: Spencer was 16, Wren was between 28-30 (his actual age was never revealed, but this the range of age estimates from fans).
Pretty Little Liars - Jarrett: Jenna was 16, Garrett was 24.
Pretty Little Liars - Spencer and Ian: Spencer was 15, Ian was 24.
Pretty Little Liars - Alison and Ian: Alison was 15, Ian was 24.
Pretty Little Liars - Jaria: Aria was 16, Jason was 22.
Here are the examples that I found in Pretty Little Liars. Let me know if there are any I forgot. Marlene King should no longer have a job, let alone be successful in her field and it’s disturbing that she is celebrated for her writing. It just goes to show how much of a problem the sexualization of teenagers in television is. The romanticization of statutory rape needs to stop, and it especially needs to stop in shows marketed towards teens.
“One day, he [Dylan] and I got into a fight on the playground. He said something that made me mad, so I pushed him. Just like that, he jumped on me and started punching; we rolled around, locked together, until the teachers peeled us apart and sent us to the principal’s office. That was the first time I ever saw Dylan’s temper. Because Dylan internalized things so much, he would let his anger build up within him until one little thing finally set it off. When that happened, it was like an explosion.”

The only two living school shooters who are not incarcerated
If you go down the list of mass shootings at U.S. schools, most of the killers turned the guns on themselves after killing classmates and teachers. Several others were killed by police, and a few were taken into custody alive.
But only two are out of prison, one of whom was arrested with a gun and drugs after his release, while the other has since applied for a concealed carry permit.
Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden;
1998 massacre at Westside Middle School in unincorporated Craighead County, Arkansas near the city of Jonesboro

Because Mitchell Johnson and Andrew Golden were minors at the time of the 1998 shooting – 13 and 11 – when they killed five people in what was then the second-deadliest U.S. school shooting. Arkansas state law mandated that they be released on their 21st birthdays, with their records sealed.
The two youths were among the youngest people ever charged with murder in American history. The Jonesboro prosecutor later stated that were it not for their ages, he would have sought a death sentence for the pair.
How the shooting unfolded;
Andrew Golden asked to be excused from his class, pulled a fire alarm and then ran to join Johnson in a wooded area 100 yards away from the school’s gym. As the students streamed out of the building, Johnson and Golden opened fire.
Johnson and Golden fatally shot four students and a teacher with multiple weapons, and both were arrested when they attempted to flee the scene. Ten others were wounded in the shooting.
In their possession were thirteen fully loaded firearms, including three semi-automatic rifles, and 200 rounds of ammunition. Their stolen van had a stockpile of supplies as well as a crossbow and several hunting knives. All of the weapons were taken from the Golden family’s personal arsenal.
