Once Gary Ridgway, accompanied by his son, picked up a prostitute in his pickup truck and brought her to a deserted area. Gary and the prostitute went into the woods alone where he killed her. When Gary returned to his truck, his son inquired the whereabouts of the prostitute, to which he told him that she lived nearby and simply walked home. When Gary was asked if he would have killed his son if he had walked in on him during the murder, Gary responded, ‘’I don’t know.’’

Before the trial of Richard Ramirez, Dr. Jerry Vale visited him in prison and took a picture of his rotten and misshapen teeth. During the trial, he described them to the jury: “The teeth were jagged and decayed, and teeth were missing in both the lower and upper gums.” He also did a cast of the teeth and produced this cast during trial to describe the irregularities in his teeth. Another dentist spoke at trial and told how Ramirez had nine completely decayed teeth. He repaired all of his rotten teeth.

Theodore Bundy, his ankles chained and jail uniform badly torn, appeared in district court for a pretrial hearing on the murder charge pending against him in the slaying of a Michigan nurse.

Pitken County sheriff’s officers said Bundy ripped both shoulders of his jail jumpsuit in a scuffle with another inmate before coming into the courtroom. Details of the incident were unavailable but it apparently followed a long-stranding feud between Bundy and the other man.
