Haven’t been on here in a minute HOW YALL DOIN?
She’s trying her best!
I reblogged this last month, tagged it, and said “might as well see if it works.” I used this video as a reference to find all the forms that i needed (which is A LOT, especially if you’re a dependent) and sent them through the mail, not really allowing myself to hope.
dude.
$2,714 of medical debt from my top surgery - gone. im shaking this was such a weight on me for 2 years and it fucking worked. what the fuck.
re-reblogging and thinking about when i have another collection agency calling that i can just do this
Note: You really need to do this before it gets sent to collections!
Collection agencies are not connected to the hospital, are definitely not non-profit, and are not required to have this kind of policy.
Having dealt with this when I had cancer and my insurance only covered 75% of my $100k+ treatment, the best time to do this is as soon as you are finished with whatever you’re getting from a specific provider. Many hospitals will only let you do this once, so if, say, you have six months of chemo, wait til it’s over. BUT in the meantime MOST providers (other than a few private-practice assholes) will not send you to collections as long as you’re paying SOMETHING. Even sending them $10/month on your $thousands bill will usually keep them happy. I was getting billed by over 30 different providers and only two sent me to collections (and one of those did it before insurance had even paid them).
But point is, do not wait for collections. The collection agency doesn’t have financial aid. There are other ways to deal with them, but this specific one won’t work.

I’m not a very good gate keeper. But I think I can live with that Happy Trans day of visibility! <3 <3 <3

Please do! Corporations are the biggest criminals of climate change, environmental damage and pollution. Capitalism is rooted in destruction.
Save our Grand Canyon!!! 😫😫😫😫
This is honestly the only way I can accurately describe watching this movie as an adult pokemon fan.

Yes, textile engineer. That’s not a fashion designer in any way.
You’ve obviously not watched the movie. She invented those fabrics to resist flame, turn invisible, resist high amounts of friction, and stretch infinite times, and avoid tear from bombs
she did a tad more than “design” them
This thing has gotten around 70,000 notes since I first reblogged it from you. Glad you’re still getting praise for it.
(No, that was not sarcasm. I thank you for pointing out how blind that comment I made was.)
Just a little taste of what’s going on at my workplace right now. We have been fighting for a raise because a lot of people who work at Disney have to work 60+ hours a week just to get by. What was their response? “Ok, everyone gets a bonus. $1000. But not all at once. $500 now and $500 at the end of the year.” (in case some people get fired or quit, so they don’t have to pay the full amount to those people). Of course, we were like “No, that’s not what we said we wanted. We want a PERMANENT RAISE.” So Disney was like OK, fine, whoever is NOT part of the union fighting for a raise gets the $1000 bonus :) Meanwhile, we are still fighting for a raise…
Gee I sure do love being a cryptid.
