I love asks, but I greatly struggle at doing things in any sort of time, that includes answering asks, although not always but I cannot promise anything.

Open to criticism. Putting words in my mouth and making assumptions about me is not criticism.
Settler in occupied North Asia aiming to do what I can against the imperial entity. More detail on that regard in the coming pinned.
Anarcho-transhumanist. Youth and animal liberation. Decoupling of feelings and ideology from each other and radical freedom of feeling. Radical freedom of identity, and opposition to generalizations, assumptions and ascriptions.
Antizionist and anti-campist (in! all! directions!), anti-contact, transunitist but an unfun one that tells you to actually consistently acknowledge in your activism and life that there aren't Only Two Genders.
Clinic abolitionist who hates psych exceptionalism, "physical disability" exceptionalism, and reductive views of disability&cripness in general.
Highly disabled; MSN, ambulatory powerchair user, and more. Fictionkin, Jewish, a number of other stuff.

Abinarine genderfluid (currently in a major abinary shift. Still abinarine when I'm not). 'Nonbinary' is one of the most important labels to me.

Stop using the word incontinence to just mean urinary incontinence. Fecal incontinence exists and you are not immune to perpetuating higher levels of stigmatization even when working on destigmatizing something already highly stigmatized.
The most sinister part is that if they hadnāt included a picture (yk, like how Amber Alerts donāt?) nobody would be able to find him off that description. Fuck transphobes.
transphobes say shit like āthe authorities HAVE to know your birth gender or else they wonāt be able to give accurate descriptions of you if you need to be searched for by the police or others!ā but does that description sound like it would help?
Anyhow, I hope that Luca is alright and gets found soon. I am worried for him and am wishing for his return!

It says, Have you seen 21-year-old (blank) Macgregor? (Blank) was last heard from on 6/14/2026. (Blank) is described as a white female, 5'06", 145 Ibs with brown hair and hazel eyes. Basically, increased co2 concentration in the air makes plants make more carbohydrates, but not take in more nutrients from the soil, so they grow faster but have a lower density of vitamins and minerals. Plus, they're "breathing" more efficiently and actually using slightly less water, so they're taking in even fewer nutrients. And the faster growth can't make up for the rates of damage due to climate instability (droughts, floods, extreme heat etc).
The research shows approximately a 3% drop in nutrient density since the 1980s, particularly in carbohydrate heavy crops (like most starchy staple foods), but so many people around the globe depend on those crops for over half their diet that it's very easy for them to fall into malnutrition without access to more expensive shit like enriched products, supplements, and even just fruits and vegetables. Like all the effects of the climate crisis, this impacts those least responsible first.
Important to understand that this same phenomenon is occurring in all foods eaten by the entire web of life. So acorns are less nutritious than they were, meaning wildlife has to work harder to survive, etc etc
Only radical degrowth can prevent planetary collapse

TheLastFarm's tweet is a quote-retweet of one by The Washington Post, reading:
Our food is growing less nutritious. Many of humanity's most important crops ā including wheat, potatoes, beans ā contain fewer vitamins and minerals than they did a generation ago.
The culprit behind this damaging phenomenon? Carbon dioxide pollution. wapo.st/4eT0YuU
please consider writing to Prarieland defendants Autumn Hill and Meagan Morris, they are both trans lesbians incarcerated in men's prisons for protesting an ICE facility
prosecution established affiliation by way of defendants having fucking anarchist zines, the kind of shit you see in a punk house. this is what they want and are willing to pursue for all of us who aren't willing to lay down and die, imprisonment and torture and the absolute stripping of our dignity (the govt gleefully included their deadnames in a press release yesterday; Morris' public defender has consistently deadnamed and misgendered her despite her legal name change)
there is no one who will protect us except us, and if our sisters are lost to us and forgotten as soon as they are grabbed by the prison system (ie if the system is allowed to work as intended) then we are failing, and we are woefully unprepared for a world where they start taking more of us
Autumn is a loving wife and is interested in religious history and mythology. Write to her at FMC Fort Worth.
Meagan Elizabeth Morris is loved by her wife housemates, and dogs. Her name was legally changed in 2007, but the federal complaint used her
This is ridiculous. "The best chance" is to wait until Trump is gone and hope that whoever comes next pardons them? Sorry, but fuck that.
I don't know if it's "the best chance", but something much more practical would be to publicize the case, contribute to legal funds, and so on. Which is what, as I understand, the defendants and their support teams are actually asking for.

Last comments on what was - at least! - an extremely tactless thing to say in light of yesterday's news:
There very well may be no "post-Trump era" for quite a long time. The man is ancient and in his second term, but he could live another 10 years or more, and has said more than once that his second term won't be his last. Even if he's gone, who knows how long his cult and orbiters will stick around. And even if the post-Trump era comes about as soon as possible and we have a Democrat for president in 2029, they aren't going to pardon any subversives (reference the entire history of the Democratic Party). I think "the best" chance the Prairieland comrades have is an unrelenting and overwhelming display of support and solidarity.
Screenshot of a Bluesky thread by @/margaret.bsky.social. The first post is a quote-repost of another by the DFW support committee which reads:
Federal sentencing has started.
Zachary Evetts was just sentenced to 50 years by Chief District Judge Reed O'Connor. Maricela Rueda was just sentenced to 840 months / 70 years by Judge Mark Pittman.
Margaret's posts read:
the best chance the Prairieland anti-ICE protesters have is that we keep their names and their case on our lips as we eventually move to a post-Trump era, that we fight for their pardon as an essential part of departing from fascism.
You can tell if a movement is serious by whether or not it abandons its prisoners, especially the "messy" ones. If Trump-era political prisoners are not released after he is removed from office, then the specter of Trump will not be gone.
Trump wants to make an example out of the Prairieland defendants, so we need to make an example out of them in the opposite way. We need to hold them close and not let the state claim they are the "bad protestors" who fought against fascism "inappropriately."

you have to consciously unlearn racism and continue to watch for it because it will come out without realizing. because so much of society is structured around it. shrugging and going "i dont care" or "i dont know how else to say it" means you are okay with being racist and hurting other people with how much you dont give a shit about them.
Assuming this is from a foreigner, there's many charities and NGOs working to improve conditions. Unfortunately, I need to note I'm not incredibly familiar with them because most of them operate very far away from my location, so I'm not the best source to verify individual charities. SEEDS India works on disaster relief and management, including extreme weather conditions. I hear ActionAid India and the Mahila Housing Trust are good too. There's Project Tapan by Raise India, but I think it only allows donations from within India. You can also donate to fund many people's medical bills through GiveIndia. Please bring awareness to the issue in your own countries, and remember that the Global North is responsible for 92% of the world's excess carbon emissions, yet the Global South faces the subsequent devastation each and every time. Remember Western overconsumption directly contributes to our suffering. Remember how privileged you are to even have air conditioning. Don't forget about us.
(I wish there was a way for foreigners to donate to the upkeep of unions since workers are by far the ones affected the most by this heatwave, but I believe almost all of them are only allowed to accept domestic donations.)
If any other South Asians know of reputable NGOs/organizations, especially ones operating in Pakistan and Bangladesh (as the ones linked here and in reblogs are primarily based in India) please link them. If you're South Asian, you can send another ask for advice.
ā¦.. Iām sorry I hope I didnāt take it the wrong way but complaining of Americans struggling with higher gas prices is a bit weird becauseā¦. the Americans who are struggling with that arenāt WASP middle class women but rather minorities? especially when the reason for the higher prices is because the United States is conducting a genocide against Iranians against the wishes of said minorities. I donāt understand how a heat wave in India means I canāt criticise the US for actively hunting down my people just because weāre indigenous and also making us struggle with basic necessities knowing that his āwarā against Iran overly proportionally affects minorities
I got like three other asks among these lines so I'll answer them here. I have no idea where you got the sentiment that my post is saying you can't criticize the US. My entire post is criticizing the Global North. The structures I'm criticizing are the ones oppressing the marginalized communities in your countries too. The freedom and liberation of those in the Global South is interlocked with the freedom and liberation of marginalized communities forcibly brought to the North. This doesn't change the fact that I think it's a problem the biggest impact of the Iran war for Americans is their gas prices getting worse and not that hundreds, thousands, of people are dying as a result of American imperialism. Nor do I like the sheer amount of Americans getting genuinely upset with me at the idea that they should care about other people in the world and recognize the privilege that comes with living in the imperial core
All āI have a complex genderā means is that the gender is hard to explain to outsiders and has many moving parts. It does not mean āmy gender is cooler than your genderā and people who wouldnāt describe their genders as complex need to stop interpreting it that way.
Come to think of it, it really is insane that my entire country is burning alive and literally no one in the rest of the world cares. Thousands of Indians are dying every day from the heat, it's 45+ degrees in multiple areas, the government couldn't give two fucks, we're getting severe warnings and red alerts, and not a soul outside of South Asia is speaking about it because why would you ever care about brown people
USA folks, that is a consistent temperature range hitting 113°. Death Valley temperatures. In Banda, it hovered between 116°-118° (47°-48° C) for a week straight.
This has been happening all month with little to no international media attention. Here are a few organizations you can check out for resources or to support:
[ID: the first image is a colour-coded map showing the surface land temperature in India. The majority of the map is a deep red, indicating 40°C or higher, with some inland areas being black and grey, indicating 50-60°C. The second image is text reading as follows:
I want to explain what 48 degrees actually feels like when you live in a developing country, because it is terrifying. You can't just "stay inside and run the AC". The power grid simply cannot handle the load of millions of people trying to cool down, so we are dealing with rolling blackouts. Imagine sitting in the pitch dark in a concrete room that has been baking in the sun for 12 hours, with no ceiling fan, while the ambient temperature inside is still hovering near 40°C at midnight. You don't sleep; you just pass out from exhaustion. The taps are running dry because the heat evaporates local reservoirs and water usage spikes. People who have to work outsideāstreet vendors, construction workers, delivery driversāare collapsing. Even the water coming out of the cold tap during the day is hot enough to literally brew tea.
The third image is a statistic reading "97 of world's hottest cities in India as brutal heatwave pushes temperatures past 45°C". The fourth image is a headline reading "Laboring Under Delhi's Harsh Heat, Workers Must Choose Health or Wages", with a subheading reading "Severe heat waves have been hitting India since April, forcing many of the country's essential workers to make tough decisions." The final image is text reading as follows:
"We estimate that a single day of extreme heat causes approximately 3,400 excess deaths nationally; a five-day heatwave causes nearly 30,000," the authors wrote. Heatwave to severe heatwave conditions were prevailing in the north, central and east India, with temperatures consistently exceeding 45 degrees Celsius in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, parts of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana over the past few days. Mapping heat-induced mortality risk to individual districts revealed that the state of Uttar Pradesh alone accounts for about 8,100 excess deaths during a five-day heatwave, while excess deaths in districts, including Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Surat, each exceeded 250 in a single event.
