Denny hoisted his bag over his shoulder after another long, boring class. He shoved his tanned hand through his thick brown hair and pushed his way through the crowd of people shoving to get out the small door frame.Â
He heaved a sigh once he finally arrived to his locker, simply opening it and shoving his stuff inside. There was no need to lock it, there was nothing in there he would really care if someone stole. If someone wanted to take his History homework, he wouldn’t mind at all.Â
Suddenly, as if the Goddess was blessing him or something, someone tapped on his shoulder. The foreigner began to get excited, his heart jumped out of his chest! Finally! Something to do!Â
He swung around on his heel and looked at who stood in front of him. “Hey! What can I do ya for?” Â
"Hey, just to let you know, you're getting a pop quiz in English today." Kana scowled, standing behind Denny "That chapter thing we read yesterday- it's about that, and I like, totally bombed it."Â
Kana vaguely knew Danny from being in the second class of English that followed his- same class, different periods. The guy seemed like a pretty chill dude, so why not take a gander at talking to him? First period English sucked anyway, and certainly second period English was probably not much better. It was easy, anyway, to talk to him- guy's locker was right in the middle of Kana's path to his second period, Statistics and Probability. Math. He could spend a few moments chatting a guy up.
