Mussels??? These took some time to get used to eating but you should definitely prepare them yourself before eating them out in public. Definitely an acquired taste. They are good with white wine butter and Cajun seasoning. They require a lot of cleaning. They can be muddy with algae over the shell.
Days like this I'm so grateful for the conversation and people I meet on the dock.
Didn't get the opportunity to catch Dungeness Crab but was excited to get red rock and green crab. They were so good in a crab boil. They were easy to clean.

European green crab. This is an invasive species that out competes and eats local crab species and ell grass beds. We were able to remove about 10 of these crabbing. This was my first time catching one with eggs. These are a lot of eggs.

Marion Berry to the left and strawberry to the right. This spring I hope they take off. I got only 2 Marion berries last season. The strawberries were the best strawberries I've had. Gardening can be fun but it definitely has to be to scale to produce enough food.
