context: the outfit for pokey's big flashy song in the hypothetical stage show of the earthbound musical. i saw it in a dream once so i took it and ran with it. specifically based on/colorpicked from the peacock jumping spider, maratus volans

kinda a draft so its a bit ugly

News!

The server has had a bit of an overhall! It's not only a space to get updates and talk about this project, it's also just a general Earthbound server!

We have an audition form now for people who'd like to audition for a role as an instrumentalist or for a voice role!

I applied to have this project put in the Mother Direct! Hopefully we get in!

What is the Earthbound Musical?

The Earthbound Musical is a project started by myself (@soypeople) because of my love of musical theater and the video game Earthbound! I was originally going to go at it alone, but I realized that the work would be better with friends!

What if I want to audition for a character?

Then you can! Just DM me on Discord at soyperson with an audio clip of yourself singing just about anything you want. Then I'll assign you a part that I think would fit you well.

What if I can't sing?

Then you don't have to! You can still participate in the project and join the server for the musical to watch our progress. You can also work on instrumentals, or just help by spreading the word!

Are you planning on getting this musical staged?

Maybe... But it's mostly just for fun and as sort of a concept album. But, I can still hope that maybe one day I could be the actual director of it. You never know!

Will the songs be just remixes of already existing OST songs?

Some of them will have parts of the instrumentals/lyrics, but for the most part it is original lyrics by myself.

Will there be a Mother 3 musical?

If this musical works out then yes, there will be one! As for a Mother 1 musical, that's debatable.
