You probably have seen that man before, with his glorious mustache. Hoffer was born on October 3rd, 1967 in Paternion. After graduating from high school in 1986, he completed his basic military service with the Jägerbataillon 26 in Spittal an der Drau. He then attended the Military Academy in Wiener Neustadt from 1987 to 1990. Assignments: Platoon and company commander in the then Landwehr Trunk Regiment 83, Jägerregiment 8 and Jäger Battalion 26th Foreign assignment 1997 in Tirana / Albania as platoon commander ATCON / MPF. Graduated from the 16th general staff course from 2000 to 2003 He commanded the Australian JagdKommando from 2008 to 2020, which is an extremely long time for a special unit commander.
