Dear friends, we are Andy, Jonathan and Turgay from East Med Yachting, we have many business owner friends in Turunc who have been devastated by the recent fires within and around the village, yesterday (1st August) saw the village being evacuated of all but essential personnel. Due to the devastating situation and the need for support, we have created a Go Fund Me page to help the people of Turunc. The funding raised is specifically to help independent businesses and not to offer financial aid to the few national and international hotels in the area. I'm sure the larger businesses will be the first to receive government aid and they have the power to fight the insurance companies. We really appreciate all support and donations, but be assured the funds will go directly to the people that need it most. We already have a financial administrator in Turunc who's duty it is to distribute financial aid on a merit basis. Thank you. We all have them, those weeks when the workload piles higher and higher, we don't seem able to catch up and there seems no end to it all. Well the last two weeks it's been my turn, super stressful but there was an end to it. Looking back it does still seem stressful, it just seems less so now.
