The problem, often not discovered until late in life, is that when you look for things in life like love, meaning, motivation, it implies they are sitting behind a tree or under a rock. The most successful people in life recognize, that in life they create their own love, they manufacture their own meaning, they generate their own motivation. For me, I am driven by two main philosophies, know more today about the world than I knew yesterday. And lessen the suffering of others. You’d be surprised how far that gets you.

These links are pulled from everywhere: LiveJournal, Active.com, RunnersWorld and beyond. I found them useful when I was beginning running, and I hope other beginners will, too. This is not a full, comprehensive list of “everything about running ever,” but I hope to shed some light on good places to look for information for beginners. If you have any suggestions or additions, please feel free to message me. :)

Just going through a few pages of your tumblr makes me want to go out for a run and not stop. Do you have any tips to keep going when I'm dying and out of breath? I'm not a regular runner whatsoever hahaha.
Its all about remembering what you want that can last a lifetime ;] instead of only thinking about that moment you're in all tired and fatigued..
Your last update was 4months ago.. WE MISS YOU!!!!

4 months ago, i left this tumblr for Marine Corps boot camp
On August 8th I departed from New York to Parris Island, SC for a 3 month training matrix that would make me a United States Marine. When I graduated and came home for my 10 days of boot leave I never went back on tumblr, and soon left again for MCT that took me another month.. This is my first time logging in and posting in a long time, and it made me really happy to see people were still inboxing & reblogging from here.. I love you all, and its really hard to express how grateful I am for making this blog and learning from everyone that comes and goes here...
If anyone would like any information on Marine Corps, boot camp, nutrition, training, PT, myself, fitness and anything in between feel free to inbox me !
Eighteen more days until boot camp.. and spending all of them on PT
I'll be out most of the time for the next two weeks, so I won't be posting on this blog anymore. Thank you to all fitblr's for the time that I did share posting with you. I will share my experiences when I come back in November, hopefully with plenty tips on fitness up to Marine Corps standards. Leave me an inbox and I will answer as many as I can before I go.
