Magical Properties

It’s great for protection and getting rid of all kinds of nasties. - Coffee is a stimulant and can be used to give spells, potions and charms an extra kick, or speed things up. - Coffee grounds can be used in divination and read like tea leaves. - It is considered excellent for curse breaking. - It can be used as an offering to deities, entities, and ancestors. - Some sources suggest it can be used for compulsion, and encouraging others to be more persuasive towards you. This is most effective when the coffee is served to the target.

Medicinal Properties

- Caffeine (in coffee) improves short-term alertness, attention, memory and may have long term protective benefits on cognitive decline as well. - Many studies confirm that aspirin and other analgesics work faster and better on headaches, when combined with caffeine. - Coffee consumption has been associated with long term weight loss, likely from the thermogenic effects of caffeine raising the metabolic rate. - Warning: Nursing mothers who drink coffee might transfer the caffeine to their babies, giving them insomnia.

💟Intent: the relationship between my love and I will grow and thrive

💟Ingredients: dried and ground rose petals (love and growth) sugar (sweetness) cinnamon (spice up your love life!)

💟Instructions: Focus on the significance of each ingredient as you mix the ingredients together. Speak your intent as you add the ingredients to the jar.

💟Tips: This spell is for an already established relationship, not to attract love. Be sure to ask for consent from your lover! I would reccomend using something to represent yourself and something to represent them. I used a tarot card on either side of my work space. I have a card that I assosciate with myself and a card for my love, so I used those. You can use the Emperor and the Empress, two of the suit cards, or if you prefer ungendered cards, use the sun and the moon or the moon and the stars. Feel free to light candles, throw rose quartz everywhere while you work, whatever you need to do! When the jar is finished, place it in a space that is significant to you both 💖

💟Finally, remember to back up your spell with mundane actions. Show and tell your love that you adore them every chance you can. Enjoy, little sprouts! 🌱

i wrapped the note in my rose quartz and held it close to my heart, repeating my intention for a while before rolling up the tiny scroll and popping it into the jar. 💫

strawberry luck spell

strawberries are well known in magick to bring about good fortune and favourable circumstances. this is a simple spell to call the energy of the strawberry and bring you luck and perhaps help improve the outcome of a situation. best done during a waxing moon. you will need:

♥  a large ripe strawberry (luck, fortune, favor)

♥  a pinch of sugar (getting what you wish for)

♥ a green candle (good luck and fortune)

light the green candle and hold the strawberry in your hand. pluck the leaf from the top and wave it over the flame (so as not to burn it), then place it in front of the candle to rest.

as you hold the strawberry, think about the issue at hand and what you’d like the outcome to be. meditate on that until you feel as though the strawberry has been adequately charged.

sprinkle a bit of sugar onto your tongue and then eat the strawberry. blow out the candle, and carry the strawberry leaf in your pocket to bring good luck with you.

Four rules for a disciplined life

No zero days. ‘What’s a zero day? A zero day is when you don’t do a single fucking thing towards whatever dream or goal or want or whatever that you got going on. No more zeros. I’m not saying you gotta bust an essay out everyday, that’s not the point. The point I’m trying to make is that you have to make yourself, promise yourself, that the new SYSTEM you live in is a NON-ZERO system. Didn’t do anything all fucking day and it’s 11:58 PM? Write one sentence. One pushup. Read one page of that chapter. One. Because one is non zero.’

Be grateful to the three yous. ‘There’s the past you, the present you, and the future you. If you wanna love someone and have someone love you back, you gotta learn to love yourself, and the 3 you’s are the key. Be GRATEFUL to the past you for the positive things you’ve done. And do favours for the future you like you would for your best bro.’

Forgive yourself. ‘Maybe you got all the know-how, money, ability, strength and talent to do whatever is you wanna do. But lets say you still didn’t do it. Now you’re giving yourself shit for not doing what you need to, to be who you want to. Heads up champion, being disappointed in yourself causes you to be less productive. Tried your best to have a nonzero day yesterday and it failed? So what. I forgive you, previous self. I forgive you. But today? Today is a nonzero masterpiece to the best of my ability for future self. This one’s for you, future homes. Forgiveness man, use it. I forgive you. Say it out loud.’

Exercise and books. ‘Pretty standard advice but when you exercise daily you actually get smarter. When you exercise you get high from endorphins (thanks body). When you exercise you clear your mind. When you exercise you are doing your future self a huge favour. Exercise is a leg on a three legged stool. Feel me? As for books, almost every fucking thing we’ve all ever thought of, or felt, or gone through, or wanted, or wanted to know how to do, or whatever, has been figured out by someone else. Get some books.’
