We were thrilled to celebrate our groundbreaking last night with an exclusive event at our Sales Center. Friends of ECHO Aventura along with top brokers and developers joined us by the beautiful South Florida waterfront for a night of cocktails and music. To much applause, our team cut the ribbon, officially celebrating the start of construction on ECHO Aventura! Later in the night, PMG's Ryan Shear and International Sales Group's Philip Spiegelman and Craig Studnicky presented over $16 million in checks to top realtors that have helped make ECHO Aventura become a reality. The ceremony announced that 65% of the units have already been sold and highlighted the fabulous amenities and spacious floorplans that will make our this project unique. Thank you to everyone that came out to share this special moment with us!

South Florida Feels the Heat

All eyes have been on the Miami Heat for the last few weeks and it all culminates tonight with game seven of the NBA Finals at 9pm. Echo Aventura is perfectly situated just a short drive north of Downtown Miami and the American Airlines Arena, putting us right in the middle of the action! Hosting a series like this doesn't just mean a good time, it also means big business for South Florida restaurants, souvenir shops and tourism. Added revenue doesn't stop at ticket sales where a playoff game can take in anywhere from $500,000 to $2.5 million. When the Heat make a post-season appearance sports bars can add an extra $50,000 to their income per game and almost ten extra employees per location to keep up with the influx in fans according to the Sun-Sentinel. Since "The Big 3" teamed up in red, whit and black back in 2010 the Miami Heat have been the talk of the NBA and after a nail-bitting game six on Tuesday, they're back to compete for their second consecutive championship win tonight. ECHO Avntura Hosts The Real Deal Roundtable

Last night, ECHO Aventura was honored to host The Real Deal for a Roundtable discussion of the spring 2013 South Florida Market Report launch with the area's top developers. The elite group of panelists included Eric Trump, executive vice president of development and acquisition at the Trump Organization, Gil Dezer, President of Dezer Development, Carlos Rosso, president of condominium development for the Related Group, developer Avra Jain and ECHO's very own, Kevin Maloney,  founder and principal of Property Markets Group.

Panelists discussed the recent boom in South Florida's condo market, the neighborhoods that are drawing the most attention from buyers, including Sunny Isles, Downtown Miami, Edgewater and Aventura and the power of working with starchitects like ECHO's, Carlos Ott.

Following the panel, guests enjoyed an exclusive event at the ECHO Aventura  site. Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were served in the sales center where everyone was able to walk through a fully-furnished model of an ECHO unit. The party later migrated to an outdoor space on the property where a band played, tasty sushi, sliders, crab cakes and desserts were available as well as a stunning ice sculpture of PMG's most sought-after projects. We had a blast listening to the insight from our panel and showing our grounds to South Florida's top brokers.

Our sister property will soon be coming to Brickell! World-renowned architect, Carlos Ott, who conceptualized ECHO Aventura and Property Markets Group have teamed up once again to bring a stunning new tower to Brickell. 8,000 Square Foot Chanel Opens in Bal Harbour

Another luxury label has moved into our neighborhood! Chanel's enormous Bal Harbour Shops location is open for business. Spanning 8,000 square feet this newly-constructed space opened last month in one of South Florida's most high-end shopping destinations. The iconic brand enlisted New-York based architect, Peter Marino for the project.

The boutique has a modern and minimalist design combined with touches of Coco Chanel's classic tweed in the form of a custom-designed carpet, woven wall finish and gold couch. The store offers jewelry, handbags, beauty products, fragrances, timepieces, footwear and of course signature ready-to-wear clothing. Chanel will join fashion staples, Gucci, Saint Laurent, Prada, Roberto Cavalli and Versace at Bal Harbour shops.
