ever  since  the  war  ended  ….  ITS  BEEN  A  JOURNEY  .  there  is  so  much  rex  has  to  learn  about  a  life  away  from  the  grand  army  ,  away  from  the  jedi  &  the  republic  .  he’s  human  ,  he’s  not  a  machine  ,  and  there  is  so  much  that  he  can  do  now  .  so  many  people  to  meet  &  befriend  ,  fighting  for  the  same  cause  !  one  of  them  …  priya  ,  someone  he  has  grown  attached  to  .  someone  who  makes  him  feel  warm  inside  of  his  chest  ,  someone  who  makes  his  heart  SKIP  A  BEAT  .

“  you're  still  thinking  about  the  soup  …  and  here  i  thought  you  liked  the  soup  i  made -- should i be jealous? “  she  teases, then immediately drops it, realizing what she said out loud.  she  wasn’t  sure  how  to  get  through  to  him,  or  how  to  explain  what  she  was  trying  to  say.  it  also  occurred  to  her  that  maybe  some  things  were  better  left  unsaid  —  maybe  he  didn’t  feel  the  same  way  and  only  thought  about  them  being  friends,  and  nothing  more.

priya  always  fell  hard, like a lovesick puppy.  frequently,  it  was  “  too  much  “  for  people.  she  didn’t  love  gently,  she  loved  with  every  fiber  of  her  being  and  with  her  entire  soul.  “  oh,  i  guess,  maybe,  yeah  …  it  was  kind  of  hard  to  ignore  …  “  priya  shrugged. " you really didn't notice? " she asked with a small smile, playing it off lightheartedly.

it  was  cute,  the  way  he  didn’t  realize  how  into  him  people  seemed.  this  cantina  wasn’t  the  first,  but  it  was  the  first  that  made  her  feel  annoyed,  irritated  …  maybe  even  jealous.  she  was  not  jealous,  why  would  she  be?  it  wasn’t  like --

he  probably  didn’t  even  see  her.

”  that  joke’s  gonna  get  old  eventually,  “  she  said  with  a  half-smile  after  a  few  moments  of  awkward  silence.  but  too  much  time  had  passed.  she  was  feeling  extra  grateful  for  her  gloves,  because  at  least  the  fabric  prevented  her  hands  from  becoming  sweaty  and  uncomfortable.

“  what  ?!  psh, no  —,  “  priya  took  a  deep  breath.  “  no,  no  …  that’s  …  that’s  not  what  i  meant  …  i  mean  sure,  she  was  nice  looking,  i  guess  !  not  really  my  type  …  i  mean  !  i  have  been  with  ...  —  but  that’s  not  what  i  meant,  “ oh,  fuck.  she  needed  to  stop  talking.  “  just  -  ugh,  nevermind.  “  she  wanted  to  set  herself  on  fire  or  stop  existing  right  there.

none  of  this  was  planned.  none  of  it. she  didn't  know  how  or  when  it  happened  --  it  just  did.  she  couldn't  even  recall  the  moment  she  realized  it,  or  when  things  shifted.  it  happened  as  naturally  as  one  could  imagine  ...  infrequent  hand-holding,  being  in  each  other's  space  like  they  were  two  opposing  magnets  (  always  coming  back  to  each  other  after  being  apart  and  always  being  drawn  together  ),  having  each  others  back  and  protecting  each  other  (  they  had  always  done  that,  but  it  felt  so  much  more  intense  now, how badly she'd fall apart if he was gone from her life  ). and  she  looked  (  READ: GAZED LONGINGLY  )  at  him  a  lot.  especially  when  he  explained  things,  or  went  over  the  missions.  she  thought  the  look  of  concentration  on  his  face  was  cute  and  endearing. especially when he explained schematics of things she already knew …

sometimes  he'd  lean  close  and  she'd  think  he  was  going  to  kiss  her  ...  but  he  only  grabbed  something  next  to  her.  it  was  a  little  infuriating,  she couldn’t tell if he was oblivious or totally aware and decided to ignore it … her.

"  the  waitress  was  cute,  don’t you think? "  priya  followed  quickly  behind  @rexihka  as  they  left  the  cantina.  "  she  couldn't  stop  looking  at  you.  " and flirting. priya wasn’t jealous, why would she be? but he had to have thought the woman was beauitiful.

watching tcw right (ill never not be annoyed at what they did to mandalore) but i noticed that satine spoke about mando'a as a language that's spoken on concordia (where they exiled all the warriors.....) so it might be safe to assume mando'a also isn't spoken on mandalore ............

i should make an edit bc i think priya's wardrobe is cute and unique when she's not in armor -- she wears a lot of cool tones but also has a fair share of warm ones as well. she goes to gold rather than silver. she wears a lot of jumpsuits, overalls, also those carpenters - type of jumpsuit. she ONLY wears boots, which might've been painted by herself but could also be brown black, or bright colors. she has gold rounded glasses. she also wears a lot of chunky sweaters. leather jackets -- any color variation. gloves but they must be fingerless. she's not really against any type of clothing, she'll even wear long skirts. she likes unique pieces and won't typically go for "basics" or "plain" unless necessary. her personality is very much shown in the way she dresses, even during the rebellion or during war. it's more subtle in her clothing bc not everything is available to her right then. she has her septum pieced and each side of her nose is pierced once (but those have plain, flat studs while her septum has a hoop!). her earlobes are double pierced but she has no cartilage piercings bc of the helmet. also LOVES earrings, the weirder and more unique the better but has a soft spot for sword - related jewelry. does typically wear brown, tan or dark blue pants but loves prints. would also wear converse, if she's not wearing boots.
