Lake Okanagan
Spring flowers ~
Totally worth the 8 km hike.
The shades of blue out here is unbelievable.
Lights of Toronto
It’s always a beautiful sight to see all of the lights. After a long trip away from here I always look forward to seeing this view from the airplane. But for the first time ever, I didn’t have those feelings of home and the comfort it brings. I honestly love Toronto but I’ve come to realize that home might be out west. In the heart of the Okanagan.
beauty of spring
Throwback to the time Queen Elsa froze Toronto over.
I’m kinda ready to go back now. I never thought I would say that. I grew up in the city, where the tallest things were the skyscapers and people were everywhere. Like this road, life isn’t a straight path to your destination. Sometimes it curves, sometimes there’s mountains. At then end of the day you end up in a place you didn’t think you would go.
I grew up hearing stories from my grandfather about his trips to this store when he first arrived in Toronto. I also have gone through this store checking out all their interesting wares. It’s kind of sad that it will be torn down to build a new development.
There’s beauty in the the imperfections.
