you have nothing to lose but your chains.
In Lochiel, Arizona, a single ancient cottonwood tree stands in the way of the construction of Donald Trump's border wall. For two weeks, demonstrators have occupied the tree and defended it against construction crews and border patrol.
They invite you to act in solidarity with them.

Bro absolutely COOKED with this.
If you ever hear the phrase "fascism is aesthetics as politics," that's what this post is talking about.
It's not about being tough on crime, because the absolute toughest most brutal measure you could take against "crime" as a social problem is to alleviate poverty, and increase access to education, healthcare and social mobility.
It's about performing "tough on crime" as an aesthetic by enacting violence against a prop, i.e. minorities and the impoverished, who are fetishized and objectified to represent "crime." They are brutalized as punishment for crime, but never with the purpose of alleviating the problem of crime.
This is why a lot of conservatives and other right wingers can get straight up angry when you suggest things like reform or social measures to reduce crime. They don't want crime to be reduced, they want an eternal war against "crime" because it provides an arena for the righteous to demonstrate virtue by brutalizing their enemies.
In her first video interview from Johnson County Jail, Hill says she is a “political prisoner” who has been unjustly locked up by the Trump
“My basic assumption was, you know, the judge had obviously made his mind up about our guilt before the trial even began, and so it didn’t take me by surprise at all when I actually was sentenced to 50 years in the Bureau of Prisons. I knew, like, this is about making an example, this is about creating a narrative that, you know, anyone who resists the Trump administration’s agenda of mass deportation, is going to be made an example of, is gonna be treated this way, that if you stand up, if you speak out, we will bury you. I knew that that was what this was about the entire time that we were going to trial, and it was why I said from the very beginning, “I’m not gonna plea to anything.” You know, like they offered us plea deals, you know, we could have signed to 15 years for material support for terrorism. And I took the risk that I took of, you know, going to trial because I was like, I’m not going to create evidence of this non-existent terrorist conspiracy. That goes against everything I believe in.” — Autumn Hill

Plant diversity has long been regarded as key to stable and resilient ecosystems. However, until now, little has been understood about why it has different effects in agricultural areas than in grasslands or forests. An international research group, in which the Leibniz Institute for the Analysis of Biodiversity Change (LIB) played a leading role, has now investigated this question for the first time on a global scale. The most comprehensive synthesis of data on this topic to date, titled "Plant diversity modifies multi-trophic interactions in croplands, grasslands and forests," shows that a greater number of plant species alters food webs in different ways depending on the ecosystem—with direct consequences for biodiversity and the economy. The study is based on 149 field studies with data from 214 sites in 27 countries across five continents and was published in the journal Science Advances. The study focused on how plant diversity influences interactions between plants, herbivorous insects and their natural enemies. While earlier studies examined individual ecosystems or regions, the new analysis combines data from agricultural landscapes, grasslands and forests worldwide for the first time and shows that the underlying ecological mechanisms differ fundamentally. "For the first time, we have been able to demonstrate on a global scale that plant diversity does not operate according to the same rules everywhere," says Prof. Dr. Christoph Scherber, head of the Centre for Biodiversity Monitoring at the LIB and senior author of the study. "In agricultural systems, it primarily strengthens the natural enemies of pests. In species-rich meadows and forests, on the other hand, it initially leads to more herbivores and only subsequently to more predators. This knowledge helps us to understand how biodiversity stabilizes ecosystems—and how we can make targeted use of it for sustainable agriculture."

You have to be anti-war to care about climate change, and you have to hate the USA to be anti-war.
The world is witnessing a genocide in Gaza. In addition to the extreme loss of life, restrictions on humanitarian access and forced displace
I don't know if this article is perfect since it's too long for me to fully parse right now but exactly as OP says it describes the way the "usa" backed "israel" is destroying the environment in Gaza.
Another article that goes over how the "us" military is one of the biggest polluters in the world, ranking above many entire countries:
US military pollution is a significant contributor to climate change. If it were a nation, it would be the 47th largest emitter in the world
I have not watched this yet so I cannot vouch for it, but there is a new documentary about the American military's pollution

Yellow flowers in the garden. A sunflower, probably from bird seed, flowers of the cup plant, tall coneflower, sometimes called green-headed coneflower, heliopsis, and a different variety of sunflower. They bring all the pollinators to the yard!

Actually, she was doing more than fine. She was busy collecting pollen and packing it into the specialised "pollen baskets" (corbiculae) on her hind legs. She was soon on her way again, as you can see in the final picture:
