everyone doing the whole "strongest woman I know" "charity is always fine" routine again today just made me think of that exact same thing playing out during the bails sl and vanessa being like

thought of something that might cheer me up. when charity or todd or whoever reveals that jacob isnt leyla’s dad, can we have a mamma mia moment of mack standing up thinking she might be his (again) only to find out it's ross’
you cant have vanessa last year saying “out there maybe, but not with me” and being so concerned the other week about what charity wanted to tell her and then in the next weeks not believing her about being SA’d
we dont know whats going to happen yet but i really will lose my mind if vanessa takes todds side
also the "vanity" name drop lol
at least it looks as though they aren't going down the route of no one believing charity or her not telling anyone
thoughts on todays (7th june) episode of emmerdale
i do agree with other people saying it made sense etc like within the story. their other scene in today's episode was actually good at showing todd's thoughts and how she's got to this point. i don't have a problem with that part. (except for how they're allowed to be that explicit when it's SA but not when it's consensual...)
it's more about when you zoom out, there's three lesbian characters on the show (because you killed the lesbian of colour off last year) one is now a rapist and abuser and the other is probably going to take her side* (even though she knows charity wouldn't lie about this so it would be wildly ooc for vanessa to not believe her) and the bisexual woman who is a survivor of multiple SAs and just lifelong abuse has just been raped again (but by a woman this time! 😱) while she's trying to cover up the fact that she cheated on her husband (with two people in one night) while renting out her womb. also it's pride month. congratulations emmerdale that's maybe the worst anyone's ever done it.
*speculation, we don't know that yet and i really hope i'm wrong
we're on round 20 of the exact same scene at this point and yes I will be eating it up every single time
idk if it actually was Manpreet who told her about Charity's past but them both settling on blaming her for it is fair and valid
I'm onto you, by the way, with your little game with Vanessa.
toxic lesbian triangle real????

todd is underestimating a lesbian's attachment to her first girlfriend
that scene was exactly what i wanted to happen!!!!!!!!
i don't really know sadie king at all. on a scale from 1 to 10 how out of left field would it be if she was dr todd's ex...?
charity watching a friendly game of darts between her husband, her ex baby daddy she’s had a secret baby with, her ex fiancée, and the woman who’s dating her ex fiancée to piss her off while blackmailing her over the secret baby. average tuesday in the woolpack
manpreet living for the lesbian drama, same
this made me laugh though haha
