BACKGROUND INFORMATION - let me introduce myself, i am a man of wealth and taste.
happiness - it was his belief that he was born to margaret and edward hale two a-list bafta award winning actors in the united kingdom. given everything to him when he was a child, he not only had the newest toys, games, etc., but he had the best tutors in the world, the best education. edward wasn’t blind to his social status, as he grew up, he used it to his advantage to get into places, to get what he wanted. it was easy, all he had to do was say his last name and it wouldn’t take long for whatever it was to be in his hands. did he grow up spoiled? completely. is he still spoiled? very much so.
betrayal - it was upon learning that he wasn’t the biological child of his parents that edward started acting out -- this never actually being brought out to the public but rather it being revealed within the family. he found his birth certificate and he demanded answers from his parents, who really had none. he was the child of a family friend who really couldn’t raise him being too young to take care of him. they saw him and they fell in love with him almost immediately, choosing to adopt him, to take him as their own and while he should have seen it in a better way, edward felt they should have told him from the beginning, they should have never kept it a secret. he became active in street racing, enjoying overly fast cars, constantly drinking and driving. the drink and driving and speed racing led to him crash car after car -- never actually keeping one for too long. this did get news from the paparazzi angering his parents who had never actually seen him act out like this. his parents started to pay off the paparazzi, buy them out so they wouldn’t give away the photographs, they didn’t need any of that.
moving to america - not knowing what to do with his sudden change in behavior and also wanting to go to school in the united states and getting accepted, (no college admissions scandal here) eddie’s parents saw this as opportunity for eddie to get away. for him to go and take his mind off things, for him to learn and as much as he didn’t want to agree with them, he knew that he had to, he needed to be away from them for a while (that and he saw video of girls gone wild spring break).
photography - edward loves photography and can often be found on campus with a camera around his neck.
writing - love letters. he’ll write them, it’s how he expresses his feelings half the time, to be quite honest. especially when he likes someone. with confrontation he’s actually quite diplomatic, always looking for a way to calm things down, for things to never go too far. bb is somewhat soft but also #regal but that does not mean he’s easily pushed over, no. he has a mouth on him when needed be. will also quote william shakespeare and a whole lot of literary works if need be.
job - has taken a job as sandwich maker at the local uni cafeteria lmao his parents cut him off okay.
