Commander || (Closed)
The soldier closed her omni-tool, her face twisted in shock. You’ve got to be kidding me. The android was definitely EDI, yet it seemed so difficult to believe that she would be here as well. Still, it didn’t stop the woman’s feet from moving towards her friend. Is it really you? Shepard almost voiced this question when the A.I began the familiar greeting that always occurs whenever they met and smiled.
“Good to see you’re still yourself.” with a shrug, she continued.” I feel fine, actually much better than ever. But weren’t you supposed to be back in London? And last I remembered, I was on the Crucible all injured with a charred armor, not like now.”
Shepard would have continued with her train of thought, if not for the android’s sudden embrace. She stayed in shock for a second before composing herself. Here she was asking all these questions, without wondering about her crewmate. The Commander extended an arm to pat EDI’s arm.
“Sorry about that. How are you feeling?”
As Commander Shepard brought up memories from the final battle, EDI remained calm. She had clearly shocked Shepard with her unusually friendly action She folded her hands behind her back again and nodded at the question directed towards her.
"I am feeling...well," she replied. After a moment, she looked away to the city. "That was a lie. I am not feeling well. I have been experiencing what I can only classify as homesickness, without any prior experience to compare it to."
EDI looked back to Shepard, smiling. "I have been working on hacking their systems. It is difficult in the storm, so I have put it on hold."
