A Reunion of Friends || Ava & Edmund
Ava was excited to see her friend. It had been way too long, and she knew that her leaving was to blame for that. But, she had always felt close with Edmund. Despite their very obvious differences, there had always been a bit of a unique bond there, in her opinion, anyways. He challenged her not only physically, but intellectually as well. He made her think. So, to say that she was happy to know that he was still available, was an understatement to say the least.
In a pair of skinny jeans, sneakers, a white tank and leather crop top jacket, she knocked on Dougal's front door. She bounced on the balls of her feet, licking her lower lip and glancing down at her black painted nails. She noted that she needed to redo them, as they were becoming a bit chipped, but that was the least of her problems at this point.

Edmund opened the door, arms crossed, leaning on the frame. "What are you dolled up for?" A smirk played on his lips as he looked Ava up and down. It had been far too long. She deserved a break from this hellish place. Even if she had been here, Edmund spent many a night buried in the minutia of case law. He doubted that he would have been very stimulating company.
Taking a step back, he opened the door further. "Would you care to come in or are we heading out?" The vampire didn't have a preference either way. He just needed to know if he was stealing the keys to Dougal's car or not.
