general guidelines:
Do not repost/reupload my art without permission. This includes using my art for icons/headers/fic banners/etc. You must ask permission and I may or may not agree to it. Do not feed my art into genAI software either.
Do not leave character or ship negativity in the tags, replies, or as a caption beneath my art. Even if it's a joke, I will likely still block you for this so consider it your first and last warning.
Do not use my art as a platform to talk about something unrelated e.g. talking at length about the plot of the game it's fanart of; talking about a different ship than the one depicted; promoting your own works or the works of others beneath mine. Please make your own post instead if you feel the need to talk about these things after seeing my art.
If you wanted to make fanart of one of my OCs, it's fine but please consult my carrd for my boundaries around how my OCs are depicted. (link)
carrd link - all my other social media links are here, an about page, and a little blurb outlining what you can expect to see posted from me and also my boundaries for direct interactions

On my blog you'll find my artwork as well as reblogs of art that I like. Sometimes I make personal posts tagged as #text or #personal! Mostly I draw wlw and mlm, and I love drawing gnc people and different body types. I draw almost entirely fanart, and for the last few years I've been mostly drawing ffxiv and stardew valley, though I draw other things sometimes too. I also sometimes write, more often now than before! My fandoms are primarily video games!
Ask box is open! I’d love to hear your thoughts on fandom stuff, art, your OCs, my OCs, ships, characters, gushing over your special interest, whatever! I don’t take free art requests unless specifically stated in a post or ask meme, but feel free to strike up a conversation or share your thoughts with me :3 My settings allow DMs from anyone too if you wanted to message me privately for any reason!
Now that the chapter is out, I can share this commission I did for @usernamemybeloathed a few months back!! I love drawing beaches, and I love this scene 😁 Kent underestimating Alex for the 400th time (and he'll do it again)
It's New Chapter Day! It's the luau and I promise, no one is having a good time! No one.
"…Honey? You okay? I was just saying how happy Sam seemed lately now he and Sebastian are official, don't you think?"
Kent looked down at his wife that was neatly tucked under his armpit. Alright, Mullner? You want to play games? Putting the plate down on the table behind him, he bent down and kissed her on the lips. Slowly, sensually, eyes locked on Alex Mullner the whole time. He knew what he was doing.
Their eyes met for a moment, then Alex turned his head away. Was he disappointed? Angry? Who gave a shit. Kent narrowed his eyes, it was Mullner's own fault for looking, for playing with fire. The games stopped here, now.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
And this one comes with a treat as I commissioned @eemamminy-art to illustrate one of the scenes! Thank you for that, and for betaing for me <3
i havent read your fics cos i keep forgetting to set down time to sit and read lately (curse adhd brain) but would you mind rambling a bit about the orientations, identities and pronouns of your stardew characters? i love seeing people's takes on canon characters :3
Oh yeah, thanks for asking! :3 To preface, I do wanna acknowledge that in the game itself, the established married couples are all man/woman and the romanceable characters are all bi (or pan), but when writing my fic series I wanted to have a bigger variety of identities in both the romanceable characters and the non-romanceable ones!
With that out of the way… My headcanons! This won't be everyone, but just the characters I've really thought about a lot! I'll include my OCs as well! This is long, so I'm dumping most of it under a cut, but I'll put the main characters I write about above the cut!
Mallory (OC, the farmer): Cis man, he/him pronouns, homoromantic asexual. Specifically he's cupiosexual and sex-favorable, but is touch-averse for the most part. He does enjoy kissing and cuddling and takes a lot of care in finding a good middle-ground, as Alex is allosexual. Mal leans really hard into his romantic affinity, his romantic affections are a driving force in his attraction and relationship.
☆★☆★☆★
Alex: Cis man, he/him pronouns, gay. I see him as being someone who struggled a lot with coming to terms with his identity, as he has a ton of work to undo from his abusive dad and his bigoted grandpa, and not to mention high school teammates, who influenced him to have a twisted view of masculinity. Alex is a really sweet, compassionate, and sensitive character, but I think that his insecurities and abuse-related trauma make him fearful of coming across as "weak" so it takes some time to understand that there's tons of ways to be a man that are all equally valid.
Additionally, I write him to be hypersexual, as I felt it added another layer of something he feels shameful about on top of just being attracted to men in the first place, and it's a nice little mirror to Mal who feels ashamed about not experiencing sexual attraction. Them being on opposite ends of the sexual spectrum made for an interesting dynamic where they can learn to love themselves and find good ways to compromise and get comfortable with each other as a couple. :3
Also, I write him as having dyslexia that's severe enough he struggles to read even in adulthood.
In-game Alex has some lines about having a difficult relationship with food (like, "learning" to love eating protein-heavy foods and veggies, or saying how he wants to stay in good shape for the farmer while married, or constantly talking about bulking up on an absurd amount of eggs) so I write him as struggling with weight and body image, but ultimately getting to a point where he's happy having some extra fat on him as long as he's still strong and active too! Incidentally, I hc his mom Clara and granny Evelyn to be plus size too (Clara especially) and that he got his love of food from them :3 I headcanon that Clara wanted to open her own restaurant before Alex's dad ruined everything
☆★☆★☆★
Sebastian: Cis(?) man (I don't think he feels strongly about gender one way or the other tbh but he also isn't big on labels so I think he'd call himself "just a guy" but it's a little deeper than that), he/him pronouns, gray-romantic gray-asexual, and bi. I debated making him pan because I think he really just Does Not Think About It but I think bi works well enough, I think he genuinely prefers to be unlabeled though. He often says "I'm not gay, I'm not queer, I'm nothing" to describe his sexuality.
He spends a long time in denial about his feelings because he has a lot of trauma from his parents' divorce so he really wants to reject any and all romantic inclinations he has. It's genuinely pretty upsetting for him when he first starts to crush on Sam. Like to the point of making him feel sick 😭 With sex, it's a bodily function for him more than anything, but he'll sometimes do things with his partners. Mostly he just enjoys being near them and not necessarily being intimate or even cuddling or kissing, he's very touch-averse more so than the way I write Mal's asexuality.
I'm not sure of the exact diagnosis Seb would have for his mental health stuff, probably CPTSD, anxiety, and depression? He struggles deeply with it throughout my series, and I amplify his mental health issues from the game to be much bigger than they are.
Also worth noting that I write Sebastian being considerably older than most people do, being 27-28 in year one.
☆★☆★☆★
Abigail: Trans woman, she/her pronouns, bi. I really like the idea of Abby being trans, especially when like, her dad has this whole thing about trying to force her to be more traditionally feminine. My take on that is that Pierre wants her to be gender-conforming as a way to show his acceptance of her, in some messed up way? But I think she enjoys being a tomboy, having just a few feminine things like her hair bow and makeup, but otherwise enjoying all her same hobbies she's always liked and dressing comfortably. I write her getting into a relationship with Sam and Sebastian, and later having a girlfriend on the side of the polycule who is another bandmate of theirs, Angie. She's really happy with Sam and Seb but she has such a need to be with another woman too, and they're more than happy to let her explore that :3 I also write Abigail to be plus size!! It just feels right, and especially since she talks about loving food in-game, girl after my own heart for real hehe
☆★☆★☆★
Sam: Cis man, he/him pronouns, bi. I write Sam as being really considerate of yet often oblivious to others' feelings, so he misses cues a lot on romantic prospects and takes a long time to get into a relationship. I hc him as having had a lot of casual hookup experiences but not really any practical relationship experience before getting together with Abigail, and later Sebastian. I write him to be really smart and attentive, but he has memory problems due to adhd and sometimes misses seemingly obvious things because he's so clued into the little details and/or is overthinking them 😭 He's the kind of person that needs to be told something directly more often than not, and there's miscommunication issues abounds with Seb and Abby, but little by little they work it out.
☆★☆★☆★
Maru: Butch, she/her pronouns, lesbian. I write Maru being pretty laid back about sexuality, gender, and relationships. Very go with the flow, and very inquisitive about identities but easily accepting. I think she might be on the spectrum a little bit, as she is pragmatic and struggles to react with the appropriate emotions at times, much like her dad. She plays the role of a mediator in her family with all of the various issues they have individually.
She's in a relationship with Penny that proceeds at an absolute crawl, but with Maru's laid back nature, she isn't in any hurry to rush Penny along. Even if Penny sometimes wishes she was more enthusiastic about the relationship. Physically I have her resemble her dad more too, with a darker complexion than in canon, and textured hair! I give her the same eye shape as her mom and the tinge of red to her hair (more like magenta honestly haha) but otherwise I wanted her to really resemble her dad a lot! Also, I hc Maru to be plus size.
☆★☆★☆★
Penny: Cis woman, she/her pronouns, bi with a strong sapphic preference so she tends to just call herself a lesbian after a point. Honestly probably demisexual too. I write Penny as feeling really embarrassed and ashamed of expressing sexual desires, and leaning far more into the romance side of things.
Pam's continued emotional abuse and codependency with her has really warped her view of relationships, and Penny struggles with accepting the things she wants to do, and figuring out what she's "supposed" to do vs what she actually wants. I haven't explored this in the currently published fics but in another fic I'm writing, Penny is also on the spectrum which is why she has such a hard time navigating relationships. Like, it's partly due to being sheltered, and due to her concept of relationships being shaped by romance novels, but also being autistic she lacks the intuition to figure these things out on her own. She gets into a relationship with Maru, but it develops very, very slowly due to Penny's uncertainty and Maru's patience.
☆★☆★☆★
Haley: Cis woman, she/her pronouns, lesbian. I slapped Haley with big comphet issues (like so many people do haha) and have her string Alex along while they're both in the closet, but she soon comes to resent him when he comes out and she doesn't. She gets into a relationship with Leah at some point, but she's been so adamant about being queerphobic (a projection of her own internalized lesbophobia and fears) that she struggles to actually come out even then. She kind of lashes out at other people specifically because she hates herself as she is (I write Sebastian similarly tbh! A lot of his outbursts are due to internalized feelings of hatred and anger). Eventually she does grow from it and come out, and she's so much happier for it!
☆★☆★☆★
Leah: Genderqueer, she/her pronouns, pan. Leah is very chill and open to all possibilities when it comes to her own and her partner's gender, and I even made her ex Kel be nonbinary too. To explain both Kel and Haley as love interests for her, I gave Leah a thing for meanness. She's one of those people that sees her partner being catty and awful and thinks it's the funniest thing ever, but it's a character trait that can quickly become overwhelming.
☆★☆★☆★
Emily: Cis woman, she/her pronouns, bi. Emily is very open in her bisexuality, and she's in an open, long distance relationship with Sandy. Eventually they do move in together, but in the meantime, both of them take on casual partners to satisfy physical needs. I like to think Emily's probably hooked up with Elliott quite a few times on a purely friendly basis. I also write Emily as being slightly older than the others, being 28-29 in year one.
☆★☆★☆★
Sandy: Kind of the same situation as Emily, but I think she leans more genderqueer in her identity. Still uses she/her pronouns though, and is bi like Emily is. She still presents in a highly feminine way but she's in touch with her masculine side too.
☆★☆★☆★
Elliott: Cis man, he/him pronouns, demiromantic bisexual. This is maybe a strange idea for Elliott given he's such a romantic type of character, but I like to think that he indulges a lot in physical pleasure without really getting his heart tied up in it. When he does fall in love, he falls absolutely hard, but I think it takes a lot for him to get there! I see him as being promiscuous and very comfortable in that, and I think he's probably slept with a few of the unmarried people in town on a casual basis.
☆★☆★☆★
Vin(cent): Note the name change, I've written Vin (in adulthood, anyway) to be nonbinary, using they/them pronouns. They're ace, though I haven't decided at this point if they're alloromantic or maybe demiromantic!
In-game, Vincent has all this dialog about wanting to both do boyish things (digging in the dirt, playing with bugs and snails) and girly things (wearing dresses, being the flower queen) so I thought it would be fitting that as they grew, they continued on that gnc path until eventually they found a new identity. As an adult, I hc that Vin stayed in town and didn't go to college, working part-time at the museum and helping to tend the community gardens. They make a little side money doing floral arrangements, especially when tourists come to town for the Stardew Valley Fair.
☆★☆★☆★
Jas: (in adulthood) Cis woman, she/her pronouns, lesbian. I hc that Jas grows up to be a little more tomboyish than what we saw in her childhood, as she gets heavy into gridball and pursues it in high school and college. She can still dress up and get glamorous on occasion when the mood strikes, but she's happier in comfy clothes with her hair tied back. I see her as being biracial and having textured hair.
☆★☆★☆★
Shane: Cis man, he/him pronouns, demiromantic demisexual, and bi. I see Shane as not having much interest in sex or relationships at all at present, and that in the past he had been in a polycule with Jas' parents. The two of them were really his true loves and so he has little interest in finding a partner now, and is content to just raise Jas and try to find peace and happiness after losing his partners. Like a lot of others, I hc Shane as being plus size as well!
☆★☆★☆★
Lewis, Marnie, Waylon (OC, farmer's grandpa), & Claribel (OC, farmer's grandma): These four are/were all cis, bi, and polyam. Lewis' fears of being perceived badly/facing queerphobia and discrimination, especially as he stepped into his career as Mayor, led to the relationship being a secret for decades. It's the reason why he and Marnie still keep things under wraps, even though it's just the two of them left now. Something something trauma about "forgetting" the partners that passed away, and feeling like he was moving on from them by being happy with Marnie :')
☆★☆★☆★
Robin: Cis woman, she/her, bi. I haven't given Robin any partners that are women but like… imagine…. 🥺👉👈 I want to think that she and Alyssa had a little bit of mutual attraction that neither acknowledged or pursued before they both hated each other forever.
☆★☆★☆★
Demetrius: Cis man, he/him, demiromantic demisexual, and straight. I interpret Demetrius' dialog and behavior in-game to mean he is on the autism spectrum as well, so I lean into that a lot in my writing! He is someone who tries very hard to remember the appropriate responses in social situations and he's highly observant of cues though he tends to misread more nuanced things. I think he was probably not at all interested in a relationship when he met Robin, and over time their friendship developed into something where he did decide he wanted to pursue her romantically, though I see Robin as making the first move.
☆★☆★☆★
Alyssa (OC, farmer's mother): Cis woman, she/her pronouns, bi. Alyssa is deeply in denial about her feelings for women, though it's one of those things that's obvious to everyone around her but she just pushes it down. Men are just pigs and women are so beautiful and deserve better, you know? :) normal thoughts. I have it in mind that it's only in her 40's-50's that she finally Gets It and gets a girlfriend and it's like, life changing for her
☆★☆★☆★
Jamie/Teddy (OC, Sebastian's father): Cis man, he/him pronouns, maybe the only fully allo & straight character on this list. My gay ass wants to make him be bi but I think if he was into men in any capacity, his own ego would get in the way. As it is he can't even maintain friendships with men lol.
☆★☆★☆★
Rob (OC, later a farmhand): Trans man, he/him pronouns, biromantic asexual. Rob is new in his transition when he comes into the story, so he's trying to find his footing in his manhood while also meeting all these new people that only know him as this anxious teenage boy. Much like Mal, he's heavy on the romantic affinity and wants desperately to get a girlfriend, or really any partner, but he's yearning more for a feminine one. He's pretty sheltered and never had a relationship before, and makes a lot of stupid mistakes in trying to flirt and shoot his shot.
☆★☆★☆★
Sho (OC, one of Rob's friends): Nonbinary transmasc, he/they pronouns, achillean. I'm still developing him a lot so there's not much to say yet!
☆★☆★☆★
Gabe (OC, one of Rob's friends): Trans man, he/him pronouns, bi. Again, he's still under construction haha
☆★☆★☆★
Angie (OC, a bandmate of Sam/Seb/Abby): Butch, she/her pronouns, aromantic lesbian. She's Abigail's ex, and they dated in high school before Abigail transitioned and before Angie realized she was a lesbian (and in fact, broke up because Angie came out). Later, though, when they reconnect in their 30's and Angie joins The Pelicans, they do start up a casual relationship again. Angie has a lot of hookups with various women and just enjoys the perks of being a rockstar in that respect.
☆★☆★☆★
Leo: As he's still a child in all my writing, I haven't decided his orientation, but he identifies as a bird and a boy and uses he/him. I hc Leo to be biracial, with textured hair but a somewhat light complexion. He has CPTSD from losing his parents in a shipwreck, and struggles with that pretty much daily as he reintegrates into society with Mal and Alex as his dads. I've also put him on the spectrum, and he has very visible stims in the form of flapping his "wings", tonguing the gap between his teeth, wiggling his toes, and squawking like a bird. He struggles with how different he is from other kids, but his dads encourage him to just be himself and insist that it's okay 🥺
☆★☆★☆★
Harvey: Cis man, he/him, gay. I'm still not 100% sure what I wanna do with Harvey yet, but I do have it in mind that he's gay anyway! That's about all. Also Harvey is his last name, and I gave him the first name Madison.
☆★☆★☆★
Clint: Cis man, he/him, bi. Thus far I've just written him into the prequel fic as a teenager but I'll see if I can work out where to put him in the sequel fic too! I liked his storyline in the East Scarp mod and may adapt parts of that into his story if I can find the space for it.
☆★☆★☆★
Gus: Cis man, he/him, ace. I think of Gus as someone who prefers platonic relationships over romantic ones, and is happy just talking with his friends and neighbors every night in the bar! I think if Mal hadn't gotten together with Alex, he would have turned out just like Gus when he grew older too.
☆★☆★☆★
This is extremely long and probably WAY more than you asked for haha but if you or anyone else made it to the end, thanks so much for reading!!! I have thought a lot about these characters as you can see.. :3 Anyone not listed is either not that notable in my fic series or I haven't worked out specific headcanons yet!
i havent read your fics cos i keep forgetting to set down time to sit and read lately (curse adhd brain) but would you mind rambling a bit about the orientations, identities and pronouns of your stardew characters? i love seeing people's takes on canon characters :3

When he does fall in love, he falls absolutely hard, but I think it takes a lot for him to get there! I see him as being promiscuous and very comfortable in that, and I think he's probably slept with a few of the unmarried people in town on a casual basis.

This is extremely long and probably WAY more than you asked for haha but if you or anyone else made it to the end, thanks so much for reading!!! I have thought a lot about these characters as you can see.. :3 Anyone not listed is either not that notable in my fic series or I haven't worked out specific headcanons yet!
good timezone gangaronis!!! the other day i posted ch 7 of seasons after like. 8 months of not posting. the last update was literally in october. ANYWAYS i'm pleased with this new chapter and am glad i let it sit instead of rushing it for the sake of putting something out.
here's this chapter's blurb:
Sometimes Abigail takes things into her own hands, puts Sebastian in a situation where he has enough autonomy to say no, but really should let go of control. Setting up a new Solarian Chronicles campaign for the two of them and Sam was one of such situations. It was fine enough in the moment, but now today's the day and nothing's prepared the way it should be.
and here's the first paragraph:
There’s an old digital clock on Sebastian’s desk. The numbers glow a faint red, flickering now and then like they are on the brink. Sometimes they torment him —whether in the time they create in unison or the dizzying rave in his peripheral when he attempted to sleep— but he kept the janky thing plugged in nonetheless. It was his grandfather’s, after all.
i hope you enjoy this chapter! special thanks to @annetastic1981a, @voideydew, @itslc123, and @eemamminy-art btw!!! see the end notes, i love you guys <3
