I love when folks talk about “disturbing” books and bring up Lolita way before they mention Hogg and Samuel Delany… Delany endorsed an organization called NAMBLA for North American Man (with) Boy Love Association. About as close to a book compassionately written with 🗺️ attraction in mind. Such relations are explored in the book, graphically (not necessarily negatively or positively, just depicted). Do with that what you will.

I think Sam Delaney should be seen as an elder radqueer tbh.

Side note: if you’re going to read anything by Sam Delany besides Hogg, go for The Mad Man. One of my favorite books of all time. Dirty, sexy, dark. Piss and shit all over the place (and love, pleasure, death…). Please look up the trigger warnings.

how do you know if youre transage or not ?? 😵‍💫😵‍💫 i usually describe myself as an age-slider because i do regress at times, but i’ve never considered that i’m not necessarily my bodily/chrono (not sure the best language) age in the first place. having 27 at the top of my blog feels BAD. but am i just insecure and not used to growing older, or is it an actual part of my identity?

strangely enough, when i think about aging in a nonhuman (theriform or whatev) body, like having the fur on my muzzle go gray, feeling myself laying eggs with weaker shells, feeling the weight of huge antlers atop my head after years and years, etc. it often “feels right” to me. why do i not feel right about human development past young adulthood specifically? can i be a 11y/o person, a 19y/o person, and a 45y/o vulture?? (as a singlet, i am just one egg as far as i know)

i dont know. i dont really like the idea of being a minor myself but i do often feel like one in more than just a ptsd flashback context.

fun fact about me: while i am consistently bigender, i am often in full “femboy mode” (which for me includes up-talking and using cuter language, wearing slutty or cutesy clothes or makeup, playing the submissive role, watching my posture and taking up less space, etc.). the only part of this act I haven’t figured out how to master is my damn laugh. I have figured out sneezing and burping quietly and cutely, but when i laugh I just… do this horrible kinda of gravely, somewhat deep, somewhat nasal “aurheurheurhe” noise 😭😭😭😭 I don’t know what to compare it to besides like, how murdoc from gorillaz laughs. how do i address this?? it’s uncanny for me to be girlypop mode and then someone makes me laugh and i’m suddenly a cartoon villain 😭 help
