little headcanon of mine   —

    bucky loves jazz music. he grew up listening to ella fitzgerald, thelonious monk, and so many other jazz musicians. he learned how to play the piano just because becoming a jazz musician was something he actually wanted to do. he still listens to 20s jazz, although he does have generations of jazz to catch up on   ;    he regularly visits bars with live entertainment, especially if they’re playing that genre. 

     though he isn’t quite sure what he wants to do for now, as he knows he can’t turn away from a fight or deny the call should someone need him. he’s considered taking up his dream, considered becoming a musician in one of those bars, but he’s just waiting. maybe one day he will.

I want to make this known; it’s OKAY to flirt with my muse, it’s okay to say flirty things to them, yes, they may not react to it, they may not respond to it positively, but know as a mun I’m 100% OKAY with it. Especially if my muse is clearly attractive appearance wise, go ahead, flirt with them, if my muse is your muse’s type, it’s okay to flirt, we don’t have to be shipping, we don’t ever have to ship to have you flirt with my muse; I WONT think you’re pushing a ship on me either. But I just feel that some people are scared to have their muse be flirty to another because we a muns might take it the wrong way.

 I’m not saying this goes for everyone, but I’m letting you know that it doesn’t make me uncomfortable and I’m fine with it.

    this has to be one of the first times he visits shuri’s lab   ;   he’s amazed all the same, though, lips parted in a silent gasp at the tech that lined the desks and walls. he’s sure if he showed this to someone from the forties just like him, they’d maybe have some sort of heartattack     —     even he isn’t quite used to seeing such advancements in     ...    stuff. 

    he was always more and more impressed with the things wakanda accomplished, how prosperous the nation was and how inviting, how welcoming they were. how shuri was, t’challa. he breathes in, spots a familiar face across the room. the tiniest of smiles makes its way on his face. “   i’ve heard those old people jokes a few times already, but i don’t think there’s ever been a time where it hasn’t been so applicable as it is now. this is    ...    amazing.    “
