this ‘website’ is no more

Moved my ekowstone.com domain to squarespace for the more professional look, features and all that. I think this blog will remain but I can’t see me using this anytime soon. Moving to Are.na for inspo.

I call this ‘Higher Consciousness’. The first image is taken from my sketchbook sometime last year and the other I made just a couple hours ago. The paper of the latter was made by napkins (takeout always has soo many napkins) and some scrap red paper I had laying around. I made the napkins and red scraps into a pulp and embedded with some lemon balm(?) [maybe Chives??] seeds. This is a glimmer of a longer series I’m working on. Paper from recycled materials, embedded with seeds, and adorned with some sort of art. The aim for these seed paper pieces is to be planted and to become a medium for Life.

Need a Change

It’s been over year since I’ve uploaded anything to this website, but luckily I’ve been still creating. I just feel weird about this website. It’s built on tumblr and I think a change has been long overdue... I’ve been strongly considering squarespace just for simplicity sake, but recently I’ve been taken aback by the potential of Web3 and IPFS, so I’ve been chipping away at some basic codding. However, growing season is upon us up here in Zone 5 and I’ll likely not be able to build my own website until later this year if not 2022. Perhaps, in the meantime, I should move everything to a ‘proper’ website and keep this as more of a casual blog, or close it entirely for the domain. All I know is that this isn’t it. I might post a couple more things here but before it warms up, I’ll be upgrading.
