Shakespeare and those goofy collars. Still not quite sure how they work.. Always had a thing for the Bard, “When words were painted with the colors of thy tongue.”
After watching Mission Impossible 4, I needed to seriously detox with some 'On Golden Pond'. Seriously. Movies today feel like cocaine and redbulls to me. No thank you. I’ll take Fonda and Hepburn any day.
-with a side of Loons of course.
I’ve always admired the ‘advanced simplicity’ of Charles Saxon.. Trying to understand how he does it with every sketch..

Wanted to share my design process. I’m about 300 drawings in, and she’s still 8000 drawings away.. But I’ll get there. At this early stage, it’s easy to get overwhelmed, and do a lot of wandering. But if I make a character list, and pick one or two traits to focus on, that seems to help.
Taking an online gesture class with Alex Woo at Schoolism.com. It’s uninstructed, but the lessons have been wonderful. Week 1: Silhouettes.
