Summary: The past, present and future will always be yours. Love, grief, pain and suffering, encompasses the human condition, a life in which KimTaehyung and Park Jimin had lived.

A/N: Based off Gwen Harwood’s “At Mornington”. It is seriously such an amazing poem and Harwood is an amazing poet herself. I actually don’t like poetry cos its too fancy for my plebeian being however, I really love the themes explored in Harwood’s poems and how she executes them and /starts rambling and fangirling/ ok just read on before i start going off on tangents.

Being young meant the world was at your fingertips. Being young meant that being scared was not part of your vocabulary. Two boys, Kim Taehyung and Park Jimin, would have been the best representation of youth. Because you see, these two boys when they were together, were fearless. Once they went out to a beach and both boys, aged 6, believed that they could walk on water. Oh how wrong they were. The ocean was ruthless. Waves came crashing down and the tides became stronger. They engulfed the boys in water with the boys gasping for help. When they woke from the darkness, both their fathers were soaked in water with their heavy clothes weighing them down, their mothers in tears. Ok so maybe they couldn’t walk on water, but it was worth a try.
