whenever i work 10+ hours in a day i come home so over with talking to people... but i must continue to talk to my bf. and obviously i like that im able to do that because i lov him, but . i dont want to human no more
met nicola coughlan
Idk if you remember, but you made a post sometime back abt you and your bf attending a music festival and Brìghde Chaimbeul being the opening act, and ig I was bored enough that I gave her music a try. Sooo, I'd like to thank you for the amazinggg music rec!!
yooooo!! iirc she was the opener for the Ethel Cain concert i worked at whenever that was. I'm so glad you like her!!! she was incredible live ^_^
The world cup is nearly over we're nearly free
I hate ssris
I'm really out of the loop but I just looked into cyclosporiasis and that's terrifying. I actually think I'd be so scared of food if I was in the usa
you're always gonna miserable if you approach dating by like daydreaming about The Perfect Person and then trying to find the irl equivalent to your daydream. some of you are making an OC in your mind, yumeshipping, and then trying to find someone who wants to kin your OC. just go out into the world and talk to people
i mean that at a certain point you really do just need to develop something of a thick skin. i don't mean you need to take abuse lying down, i mean that if you like your outfit and someone tells you it's cringe and shit then you need to be able to emotionally shrug it off. stop valuing the opinions of some twat you don't even like over your own. if someone is bothering you, tell them to knock it off.
i totally get that if you're in school, this feels utterly impossible. being in school is shit. but if you're pushing 30 and still letting ugly people make you feel bad about yourself or unskilled losers make you feel like you're not good at anything, this is a skill you must learn!!!!!!! the skill of letting bullshit wash over you instead of being all you focus on!
when i was 15 i made multiple posts every miserable day about how all of my problems were actually everybody else's fault + i was just a pure innocent victim child (who also hated themselves blah blah blah) but then i stopped being 15. some people old enough to have teenage children could learn from this
scotland really will deep fry anything
I don't talk about kink stuff on here and I never will but like. not interested in seeing your overgeneralising anti-kink takes, frankly
Damn no way I wonder how that happened
I have maybe 50 items of clothing including outerwear and shoes and I feel like I have significantly too many 🧍♂️
I think when I start working fuller-time I'll try taking less from the foodshare and having a better planned diet. so much of my issue rn is that I don't really choose what I eat. And I have lots of like dried beans, but I don't get to eat them because I always have something I NEED to eat before it goes off. So I never, ever get around to eating what I actually want to. It's kind of stupid.
something ive noticed wrt trans men in trans spaces, which i'd be interested to hear is [not] the same for trans women:
if you're gay/bi, your trans identity is seen as vastly more important than your gay/bi identity. your reason for being around is viewed as your transness. you'ew basically viewed as entirely separate from 'queer men' broadly.
if you're straight, your presence is kinda treated as weird. suddenly your heterosexual identity seems far more important than your trans identity. some people act like you've almost found a loophole to get into somewhere that you don't really belong
