It just occurred to me that a handful of my tags might not be wholly intuitive to new followers, of which I've been getting a small influx (hiii). Some are pretty self-explanatory, but I'm listing most of them here for convenience.
‘#mine’ and ‘#reblog’: exactly what it says on the tin.
‘#additions’: just that, both for my own and comments left on my posts by others.
‘#answered ask’.
‘#favourites’.
‘#not tma’.
‘#him’: my catch-all tag for anything related to Jonah in any of his bodies.
Whether I use ‘#elias bouchard’ or ‘#jonah magnus’ is often a toss-up, hence the ‘#him’ tag.
‘#analysis’: for dissecting themes and characters. Both mine and reblogs.
‘#fanfic’ and ‘#fanart’. Also ‘#fanfic recs’.
My character tags are usually predictable, but there are a few outliers, namely ‘#georgina barker’, ‘#alice tonner’, and ‘#timothy stoker’. ‘#mackwood’ is my Martin tag so as to prevent my negative opinions from clogging the main one. Also, ‘#leto the ant guy’ is used sporadically when I talk about my favourite irrelevant side character.
‘#jm’ for garden variety J*martin, ‘#jm critical’ for the obvious, and ‘#tma critical’ for also the obvious.
‘#fandom complaints’ for (usually petty) discourse.
I use ‘#tma s[number]’ for seasons.
Episode tags are structured by ‘#mag [episode number without zeros to the left]’ format.
‘#web-weaving (heh)’ for intertextual parallels.
Entity tags: ‘#ceaseless watcher’, ‘#mother of puppets’, ‘#es mentiras’, ‘#viscera’, ‘#forsaken’, ‘#the crawling rot’, and whichever title is most dramatic and fun to say.
I also have an unfortunate tendency to neglect to answer asks. I don't ignore them on purpose, and I enjoy getting them.
