it was never expected of elias to be a romantic and no one should ever really expect it from him, or at least not in the genuine sense. the only time he’d ever show a sign of deep affection is if there was something in it for him. once elsie sprouted up new wings, the boy drew away in search for other girls to talk to. not that he wasn’t interested in the winged beauty anymore, he just didn’t think she’d want his attention at the moment so he backed away. you could see the envy in his eyes when he saw elsie with a rose in her hand, it was as obvious as the nose on his face. he suddenly had a hatred for whoever gave it to her. “hotter than me? i doubt that very much. i say that this guy isn’t even someone i should worry after, the kid didn’t even say who it was from. he’s clearly got insecurity issues if he doesn’t want to reveal himself .”
