Schloss Elmau is a luxury five-star hotel at the foot of the Wetterstein mountains, in a nature reserve near the village of Klais lying between Garmisch and Mittenwald in Bavaria, Germany. The building was completed in 1916 as a place for artists, rather than as a schloss (palace), as the name implies. Schloss Elmau will be the site of the 41st G7 summit June 7-8 2015.
