STORY TIME
So, I'm driving home from clinical--which is a straight shot from Opelousas to Broussard, yeah? Well I dally after a red light turned green and the cars in front of me had progressed a couple of car lengths and someone honks, a smaller honk chimes in but I'm already moving and just kinda watching folk as I drive by. Now anyone who has seen me driving or ridden with me knows I drive on the slower side of average. I always have, my dad used to laugh and say we'd be rear-ended by a tractor with the way I drive.
I digress.
So I'm cruising along in the inner most lane and this lady just swerves over and slams her brakes to a crawl. I slow down to avoid hitting her, she hastily gets into another lane. I figured she was lost because she changed her indicator twice before moving into the other lane. I'm driving along and she does it again, but times it better and I have to apply more pressure on my own break. Now 98% of my driving is spent with one arm dangling out the window so I make this vague "what are you doing" hand wave, which happens to gesture to the left which is the turning lane to go to the airport. She rips her vehicle into the turn lane and as I'm puttering past she lays on the horn and looks so indignant in her gigantic shades and unruly curls giving me gestures that communicate a similar "wtf" mentality.
I'm not sure who she thought I was, but it was funny.
