So back in October I won a charity auction benefiting cancer research for which the prize was a virtual meet & greet with Elizabeth Henstridge. We had our call today and it was really nice to just chat about random things for a little while. I think what we probably talked most about was Atlanta humidity (she and her husband moved there last fall and I am two hours away in Birmingham, AL) and marching band (long story lol). She also recognized me right away, which I thought was sweet since I haven’t seen her since DragonCon 2018. She was just as kind as funny as she’s been every time I’ve met her before and it was wonderful to get the chance to talk to her while supporting a great cause.

Since we kind of rambled from topic to topic I didn’t actually get to ask any of the questions I had prepared (which is fine, a regular chat is great!) but I did get to tell her I was so thankful for the happy ending that Fitzsimmons got, and she said that she had FaceTimed Iain just the other day and they talked about how grateful they were for it, too. So we know they loved it just as much as we do! 😊
