Our next and last stop of the day was to the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This place may sound familiar to some, that's because this museum experienced a huge sinkhole back in 2014. The video went viral online and my dad, Matt and I watched it happen live. It was so weird to be standing on top of where a sinkhole opened up. Definitely go check this museum out if you're nearby! Post 1/2. February 2nd, 2020. I definitely recommend going to at least one of the caves/caverns near and around Louisville/Bowling Green/Cave City in Kentucky. I'm fascinated by the history of wherever I am. During our 2nd day in Kentucky, we decided to go explore some of the many caves and caverns that were pretty close by. We took an hour drive to Bowling Green/Cave City Kentucky and originally wanted to go to Mammoth Cave National Park. All the tour spots were filled, so we went to the 2nd location, Diamond Caverns. For our first official day in Kentucky, we decided to take a tour of the Barton 1792 Distillery. It was so fascinating and interesting to walk through the distilleries and learn about how their bourbon is made, as well as learning the history. It was a lot of fun. Once we got into Bardstown and unpacked, we walked around town in search of some food. It was really late, so we ended up going to Domino's, but I snapped a few photos while we were exploring (plus a timelapse of the main Street from the 3rd story apartment window). I've never owned luggage before, so I decided to purchase one for my Kentucky trip and I love it. I also got my fake nails removed before leaving for Kentucky, so I had to take one last photo with them on. I love them, but I want my real nails back.
