Dancing Queen is just... such a good song.

I did, yeah. I also said ‘oh-oh spaghetti-o’s’ but the apology came right after.
Well, to be fair, ‘oh-oh spghetti-o’s’ probably would have been my first thought, too. I have a bad tendency to joke when things get awkward.

She was all like “Well, Uncle Maddox, I liked it, but, I didn’t like that Iago guy, and I didn’t like it when you killed your wife, and I didn’t like it when you died, so, I don’t think you should do those things next time.”
Aw, that’s sweet! She must love you. My baby cousins said similar things after they saw me in Les Mis.
Although I am surprised that her parents let her see Othello. It doesn’t seem super appropriate for a nine-year-old.

My nine year old niece saw the show last night and she had some, uh, interesting criticisms.
Oh, I’m sure. Kids can be harsh. What did these ‘interesting criticisms’ consist of, if you don’t mind my asking?

Well I can agree with one half of that, Starbucks or any other coffee house that I happen to be passing by. I don’t know if I have any so-called crazy stories, just the amount of people that were out at the production and at the stage door. It was nice to see the holiday rush pick up and know summer is here.
Oh, that kind of crazy weekend. Well, on second thought, I had one of those recently, too. Summer is a great time, you’re right. Business picks up, theaters fill out, there are more people to meet. I love it.

Yeah,I get to be extremely indecisive, honestly I’m an advocate for Cinderella and Rapunzel, imagine if we were our characters and meeting,I would definitely read that story!
Yeah, me, too! I think Cinderella and Rapunzel would be a better story than Cinderella and the prince. Since... well, we all know how that works out in the end.
As for Eponine and Cinderella, I think they would make a kickass team. Like as spies or something. I don’t know.
erinkirklandrp
You’re Eponine at the moment right?Had a crush on her growing up,she was smart, street savvy and looked out for ‘er siblings.
Yep, I am! I loved her when I was growing up, too, for the same reasons. Well, maybe not the siblings part, but definitely the street savvy thing. And... I want to say you're playing Cinderella, right?

I was actually kicked out,uh my Ma and I we didn’t see eye to eye.She was an intense Catholic and I’m a lesbian so you know…fat lotta good that did too, haven’t dated anyone since I was seventeen.Baggage…
Oh, I’m so sorry. I have friends whose families are like that, but mine is pretty accepting for the most part. There’s a couple outliers here and there but on the whole they’re open-minded. I’m sorry yours is different. If it makes you feel any better, I haven’t dated in a while either, but that’s mostly because of the whole I-spend-ninety-five-percent-of-my-time-working thing.

I think I gouged a girl’s eyes out with her own Playbill at the stagedoor. I just trying to hand it back to her and then -wham- right in her face. I’ll admit, it wasn’t my best moment.
Oh, no! That sounds horrible. But I think if you at least apologized and made sure she knew it was an accident... all’s well that ends well?

I left when I was seventeen,I haven’t seen him since he was twelve.I’m one of seven.
Seven, huh? That’s a lot. The biggest group of siblings in my family is six; my mom and her sisters. So I can’t really imagine, but I’m sure it must’ve gotten crazy. But you left at seventeen? Any specific reason? I mean, shit, that was invasive. Just... if you don’t mind my asking.

Ava shook her head, smiling softly at the girl. “Nah, it’s good. Really, don’t worry about it, pretty girl. This shirt isn’t anything special to me.” The aforementioned shirt was a loose black t-shirt that, as she had said, meant nothing to her. In fact, she probably had another shirt just like it back at her apartment. “It’s really my fault. I wasn’t watching where I was going, either.”
Ella blinked, most of the woman’s words not registering for a moment. The only thing that really clicked was ‘pretty girl’. Did that mean something? Probably not, Ella. Stop overthinking. “Well, I’m Ella. Um, were you getting something? If you were, I’ll pay. I mean, to make up for...” she gestured to Ava’s shirt with one hand, reaching up to rub at the back of her neck with the other. “I have to buy another one now, anyway.”

It was such a crazy weekend last week, more so then usual, that this entire week kind feels like its flown by. On top of that its June and I’m like how the hell did that happen? I have no idea where the first half of the year went to.
Ohhh, boy. I can’t remember my last crazy weekend, if I’m being honest. All my time not spent at the Imperial is spent at Starbucks or in my bed. That said, got any stories worth telling from this so-called crazy weekend?

I want to have a 54 Below show but the only song I would sing would be I’ll Be Here from Ordinary Days. Just over and over again until the whole audience is weeping.
Jesus, Willa. Seriously? Are you trying to kill people?
everett-andrews
You’re definitely not alone. I think more people then they care to admit are justing making it up as they go along with life. Besides, isn’t that part of life, figuring it out and what you’re supposed to be doing? If we all had it mapped out then what would be the point.
Yeah, that’s a really good point! It’s definitely part of what makes life exciting sometimes. Hey, what’s your name, oh wise master of life advice? I’m Ella.

As the lithe brunette banged into her, coffee spilling all over both of them, Ava let out a low groan, stepping back and staring down at her soaked, ruined shirt with weary eyes. “Shit,” she mumbled, cheeks flushed. “Whatever. It’s no big deal. I’m just going to change out of this in a little bit, anyway.”
Ella breathed a soft sigh of relief. If nothing else, at least the woman didn’t seem too angry. “Well, that’s good at least. Still, I should’ve been paying more attention. I’m just usually pretty good about getting to work early, but today I woke up late so I was trying to hurry and it’s just been sort of a mess. I’m sorry again.”

I come from a family of diva’s .My little brother Arthur, he once pitched such a bad fit and he screamed and cried because one of the sprinkles on his cupcake wasn’t pink.
Damn, really? I’m an only child, and that’s one of the many reasons I’m glad about it. I don’t really play nice with children, especially children like that. I mean, I’m sure you love him and all, but that sounds like hell.
erinkirklandrp
I don’t actually mind Broadway dot com. They reacted better to my sexuality than Facebook, twitter, my mother and the Catholic Church. I dinnae know if they’ll always be that good.
Well, I suppose that’s fair; I feel the same. The gossip is a bit much, considering this is supposed to be a professional industry, but they’re definitely a lot more open than, for example - well, you already pointed out the Catholic Church.
