Here's the final version of my splashart for The Silent from Slay the Spire! After weeks of iterating on composition, colors, and pose in Photoshop, I'm really happy with the result. Not everything is perfect, but challenge completed! Others will follow, if you have ideas or wishes put them in comments !
Life drawing study from a live reference. The main focus of this piece was to break down my rendering process, specifically working on color and lighting. The goal wasn't a strict 1:1 reproduction, but rather interpreting the reference and pushing it into my own stylized look. I’ve included a few different versions in this post, including the original nude study and another with let's say more artistic choices.
Life drawing practice while waiting for the next splash art. 🎨 As I mentioned before, this splash art is my main project right now, so I've been doing targeted exercises to refine my process and prepare. As you can see from the remaining sketch lines, this one focuses on building the character from the skeletal structure up. PS: More illustrations coming soon! :)
Yes I play again with the API, again this is used as a test. A moody ink sketch from a past Inktober, evoking a post-apocalyptic world where fuzzy textures and dark lines create a sense of desolation and survival. The monochrome palette contrasts softness with decay, capturing a haunting, vintage atmosphere. #inktober #ink #abstract #fuzzy #texture #black and white #drawing #contemporary #graphic art #monochrome
Je joue avec les API de Meta-Insta, ce qui pourrait me faciliter la vie plutôt que d'aller sur 5 apps différentes pour poster la même chose #doodle; test: tree
[WIP] Splashart – Progress Update!
I had left the hands and feet for later, but they're finally done! I also adjusted the proportions a bit and added her skull mask and hair.
I’m losing a bit of time doing and undoing things, but it’s honestly so relaxing to just get carried away by the brushstrokes. ✍️✨
The Silent Splashart – Color Phase!
Getting down to business! After the initial sketches, it’s time for colors and refining the shapes. I'm still doing some research to lock down the perspective and stabilize her pose, but it’s finally coming together and taking shape!
Honestly, this is such a fun exercise. I'm really glad I finally took the plunge and started this project. 🤫🗡️
Splash art in progress! 🎨
This is something that has always impressed and inspired me. I’ve always wanted to try my hand at it, but man, it’s a tough challenge! It requires mastering so many different aspects of drawing—everything from composition and dynamic posing to style, perspective, and so much more.
I’m honestly so excited to see how this turns out!
Today post is Ragnaros from Hearthstone (or WoW). Often, I start my drawings with no specific goal, letting my pencil or stylus guide me, driven by the desire to capture a character, an object, or a landscape, with no set plan for completion. This work is an example of that: it may seem unfinished to some, but to me, it is complete. I drew until my inspiration ran out
Here's an older drawing inspired by Chinese culture. Although I generally lean more towards Japanese culture, I still quite enjoy the delicate and strong aspects of Chinese culture. Experience the delicate art of tradition and Chinese culture in every detail
Hi ! Long time no see ! In short I have been training, I became a dad, broke my right arm, and I still find time to continue drawing nearly each day!
Let's start again with an art piece on Solo Leveling that I discovered recently, I love the art style!
