also I think they’re all pretty evenly matched at just dance so whoever wins absolutely did it by playing dirty and this is something that they immediately pay for by being attacked by the others :D

Usually Tim didn’t mind Dick’s driving, but usually he had a seatbelt on. This time, though, huddled under the pile of discarded hoodies and zip-ups in the back row of seats, Tim thought he got why Jason always gave their oldest brother so much shit about his driving skills.
Honestly, for someone who prowled around on a futuristic motorbike, Dick had a terrible grasp on the forces of physics.
Particularly how they worked with braking.
The car lurched to a sudden stop and Tim lurched forward, almost tumbling off the seats. Luckily, he latched on to the headrest just in time, or the whole game would’ve been up.
He hadn’t intended to spend a perfectly good Tuesday evening lurking in the backseat of Dick’s creaky, crusty-ass minivan while Dick committed traffic violations on Gotham’s unsuspecting streets. But, he’d just happened to be in the Cave to overhear Jason moan and groan and nag Dick into going out to get Batburger, and the van was unlocked, and Tim hadn’t pulled a prank on his brothers in ages so really, this was a perfectly good use of his time.
Yeah, Bruce would believe that.
Any other car, and Tim probably would’ve been caught out by now. The creaks and squeaks from the van, though, were distracting enough that any sound he made would blend into the background noise. Despite Dick’s protests about needing to have a reasonable civilian disguise in Bludhaven and not make himself a target, Tim remained convinced that he only kept the car to annoy Bruce. The poor thing had never seen the inside of a car wash except for one time, and it took Jason writing ‘MILF-MOBILE’ in the dirt on the back window to finally make Dick venture into the nearest Drive ‘n’ Shine. It was a miracle the car survived the experience.
So, there Tim was, with his cunning disguise of gym sweatshirts and Bludhaven PD jackets, hanging on for his life while Dick and Jason bickered up front about something undoubtedly stupid.
He did kinda zone out for a while, but snapped back to the present just in time to hear Dick say, “Hey, text the family group chat and see if anyone wants anything.”
“Why don’t you do it?” Jason muttered, but the rustling noises indicated that he was digging around for his phone.
Dick gasped, affronted. “That’s texting and driving, Jay, I don’t do that.”
“You drive like you do.”
“Hey,” Dick said, with a muffled thwack that meant he’d probably smacked Jason in the arm. “Open up a voice note and lemme do it. B, Alf, Timmy! Want anything from–”
Tim took his chance and launched himself upwards. “I’d like a strawberry milkshake, pretty please!”
To his credit, Dick did not jerk the wheel. Even if he had, it would’ve been hard to notice with the way that Jason screeched at a pitch only dogs should be able to hear. His wordless shriek dissolved into a string of blistering curses.
“Fucking hell you fuck shit rat bastard–”
Wheezing, Tim had to double over from how hard he was laughing, keeping himself propped up by one elbow on the back of the seat right in front of him. His stomach cramped as he caught his breath just in time to be swept away again once he caught sight of Jason’s expression in the rearview mirror. Cursing aside, Jason had a bug-eyed look of complete surprise plastered across his face, and he looked like –
“Oh my go–” Tim broke off, laughter consuming him. “You look – you look like Scooby Doo–”
Dick, who’d recovered quicker, glanced over at Jason and cackled. “He’s not wrong, Little Wing.”
“Okay, fuck that.” After the distinctive click of a seatbelt being unbuckled, Jason tossed it aside and twisted around in the passenger seat. “You’re such a goddamn brat–”
Tim was expecting him to launch into a tirade of threats and curses.
He was not expecting Jason to lunge backwards across the center console, so when that happened instead, it was Tim’s turn to shriek as he lurched backwards, pressing himself against the very last row of seats.
“Jason!” Dick scolded, but it didn’t sound like his heart was in it.
“Dick, he’s being unsafe!” Tim screeched. He pulled his knees up with his chest to kick both feet out as Jason reached for him. “Back! Back, I say!”
Jason growled, but the glint in his eyes when he smirked made Tim question for one (1) second whether this whole thing had perhaps been a bad idea.
Nah, worth it.
That didn’t keep Tim from gasping when Jason boxed him in against the right side of the row and cornered him. “Nonono, Jase, Jase the car, it’s gonna fall apart–” His voice got shriller with each word and he flushed at the sound. If only he could just grow out of that, already.
“Hey!” shouted Dick.
“Aww,” Jason said with a put-on chuckle. “It’s been through worse, Tim-Tac. Dick’s brave and intrepid steed will survive a little birdie wreckage.”
Balancing one of his knees on the row of seats, Jason loomed over Tim like a great big shadow of incoming doom. Giddy butterflies whirled in circles through Tim’s stomach as he felt an irresistible grin stretch his mouth upwards, faint giggles welling in the back of his throat. He crossed his arms over his stomach in a final last-ditch effort to protect himself, and for the briefest of moments it looked like Jason smiled, but the cocky smirk reappeared so fast Tim couldn’t be sure if he was imagining things.
“I’m sorry?” Tim tried.
Jason snorted. “No, you’re not.”
Then he attacked.
As soon as Tim felt Jason flop down on his legs, effectively immobilizing his whole lower body in one fell swoop, he started trying to squirm anyways. Jason chuckled again, winding his arms under Tim’s torso and reaching around until each set of fingers rested against Tim’s ribs, hovering with just enough pressure to make Tim squeak.
“Wait!” he protested. “Jay–”
“Nah,” Jason said, squeezing. He dug his fingers in with fluctuating pulses, treating Tim’s lower ribcage like the octaves on a piano.
Tim burst into cackles that sounded far too happy for him to have a prayer of convincing Jason to back off. Even though he could feel the strength leaving his arms, chased away by ticklish frissons, he pounded his fists against Jason’s shoulders.
“Jahahase, nahaHAHA! Don’t!”
“Don’t what?” Jason teased.
“Tickle– WAITWAITNO–” Stupid stupid brain. Tim thunked his head against the window, squeezing his eyes shut as Jason’s fingers nibbled around to that insanely ticklish spot towards the back of his lowest set of ribs. Instead of squeezing, Jason tasered his index finger into one side while making light scrabbles over the mirroring spot on the opposite side.
“Aww, Dickiebird, he’s asking all nicely.”
Tim shouted, waves of desperate, squeaky laughter being torn out of him by Jason’s evil tactics. Every now and then, Jason would switch up which side got which treatment, and the first couple switches had Tim jerking and tossing to each side. Eventually, though, he gave up.
“We’re in line at the drive-thru,” Dick called back. “What did you want, Jason?”
Jason gave Dick his order and randomly darted his right hand up to dig in under Tim’s arm.
With a laughing shriek, Tim frantically shook his head. He gasped out a breath. “I–Jase, not thehere!”
Jason smirked down at him. “Don’t think Batburger sells that, Timmers. Any other requests?”
As Tim started to tell him to shut up, Jason leaned down and – oh no, and gave Tim a raspberry on the middle of his stomach, where his squirming had made his shirt ride up.
“Hey!” Tim wailed. Oh god oh no oh fuck it tickled, it tickled so badly, and he was trapped in the back of Dick’s car and Jason was just grinning at him because he was mean and evil and agoodbigbrother and–
“That’s not on the menu, either,” Dick offered.
Jason repeated the raspberry and this time he squeezed with the hand on Tim’s lowest rib too. The contrasting sensations meant that Tim succumbed to the squeakiest giggles of his life, that occasionally veered into full-blown laughter.
“It –!” Tim started to say, squeaking when Jason readied himself for another raspberry. He pressed his palms against Jason’s shoulders to ground himself. “Tickles!”
Just as Dick started rolling down the driver’s window to order, Jason blew another raspberry and Tim smacked him on the side of the head about it.
Well, not actually. The head smack was an accident because he couldn’t squirm, since some big dumb lug was pinning him down.
“Ssh, guys, I’m ordering–” Dick said, turning back to look at them. The sappy grin that broke out across his expression made Tim’s face burn even hotter.
“Gotcha, Dickie, no problem,” Jason replied.
Okay, good. A break.
Then Jason started crawling his hand upwards to join the one on Tim’s upper ribs, right underneath his armpit, and the renewed surge of adrenaline let Tim squirm just enough that he could grab Jason’s wrists to cling on.
“Someone’s giddy,” Jason murmured low enough that it wouldn’t reach Dick’s ears. Amusement curled through his tone, and Tim desperately wanted to burrow back beneath the pile of sweatshirts.
There wasn’t time for Tim to defend himself. As soon as Jason started scritching over the wildly sensitive place where his upper ribs became his armpit, Tim wheezed out a silent laugh and slammed his eyes shut again. The tickles collided with all the dopamine and other happy chemicals in his brain, spinning around and around until he went limp against the upholstery, face aching from how wide his grin was.
The faint murmur of Dick saying something to a drive-thru worker drifted through to the backseat. Then, the telltale crackling of fast food bags came, and suddenly Tim’s stomach growled.
Jason huffed, grinned, and said, “Yeah, I’m hungry too, kid.”
Maybe Tim should’ve seen the renewed raspberry attack coming, but he was already tickled out, so when Jason suddenly launched a final volley of raspberries and nibbles around his stomach, Tim just hid his face in his hands and let himself laugh.
Eventually, though, the tickles faded, and Jason leaned back. He kept his arms locked around Tim’s torso so that Tim went with him, not really feeling like putting up much resistance when Jason manhandled him into one of the middle seats, then slid into the other.
“Here.”
A large styrofoam cup was shoved into Tim’s hands. It was cold to the touch. Once Tim’s tickle-drunk brain finally threw up a coherent thought, he grinned.
“Strawberry milkshake?”
“Yeah,” Dick said, winking at him in the rearview mirror. “The cashier wanted to know if everything was alright, due to all the flailing and thumping.”
Tim’s blush returned with a vengeance and he stared determinedly down at his milkshake.
“She also…” Dick felt around for something in the passenger seat, then stretched his right arm backwards to toss a Batburger bag into Tim’s lap. “Wanted to know what kind of toy you wanted.”
For a couple seconds Tim just blinked uncomprehendingly at the brightly-colored Batburger kids’ meal bag sitting on his knees. When it sunk in, though, he groaned.
“Dick.”
His oldest brother shrugged. “It wouldn’t be nice to just get you a milkshake. Not after you went to all this trouble to tag along.”
Despite Tim’s misgivings about being assigned a child’s portion of Jokerized fries instead of the far-superior large order, he really was starting to feel hungry. Setting his milkshake in the cupholder, he ignored Jason’s amused grin as he opened the bag and went digging for his fries. Instead, though, his fingers brushed up against something solid and plastic. He withdrew a small figurine of –
“You got me Robin?” he asked Dick.
Dick’s eyebrows flicked up in the mirror that he shouldn’t have been looking in given that he was, theoretically, driving. “Not just Robin.”
Tim squinted at the figurine again but this time, he noticed that this Robin had green pants with black accents, and a staff sitting in the palm of its hand. “Wait, it’s – it’s me?”
“Congrats on making it to the Batburger lineup,” Jason muttered through a mouthful of burger. He clapped his hand down on Tim’s shoulder and squeezed once.
“If you press the button on the back, the staff detaches,” Dick added. “There was a diagram on one of the screens.”
Sure enough, when Tim pressed the button – on the back of Robin’s cape – the staff clicked out, unspooling from a small string that disappeared into Robin’s palm.
“Cool,” he said. Looking at a toy version of his vigilante persona felt a little surreal, but the happy fizzing in his chest outweighed the weirdness of it all.
Dick awww’ed, but Tim just settled back against his seat and clicked the tiny Robin’s staff in and out again. And again. He grinned. “Thanks, guys.”

“Dihickie, nahahaha-” Tim squealed, his laugh music to Dick’s ears. It'd been a rough week and he wanted nothing more than to hunt all his siblings down and reduce them to piles of giggles. Tickling Tim was a great start to his mission; he could already feel his mood improving.
“Aww, what's wrong, Timmy, don't you wanna spend time with me?” Dick faux pouted.
“Naha- tihihickles!”
“Well of course it does, silly. Tickles are your favourite! And as your big brother, it's my job to make sure you get all the tickly tickles your giggly little heart desires,” Dick said. When Tim just kept laughing, Dick lightened his touch, eventually stopping so as to let his baby brother breathe.
Tim’s chest rose and fell with each breath as he dissolved into a puddle of mush on the sparring mat beneath him. Dick’s smile turned fond and he ran his fingers through Tim’s hair to comfort him, chuckling when the boy just glared at him.
“So… Which spot next, huh? I was thinking of maybe cutting this short with your ribs-” here Dick cut himself off to dart his hand down to rest unmoving on Tim’s ribs. Tim squeaked and began nervously tittering, squirming slightly in his spot.
“But I think maybe you'd rather I go riiiight here-” he skittered his hand down to the center of Tim’s stomach, clawing over the spot.
“Nahat thehere,” Tim squeaked again, a bright, happy grin on his face as he giggled. His squirming picked up a little.
“Aww, what's the matter Timmy? What's made you into such a wiggly little worm, hmm? You want me to tickle your ribs instead after all?” Dick slowly walked his fingers up to Tim’s ribs, then started skritching there with just one finger. His other hand joined in at the other side of Tim’s ribs.
Tim’s face was thoroughly coloured red as he shouted out, “DAD HEHELP,” before cutting himself off with bubbly cackles, hands gripped tight around Dick’s wrists for support.
“Ohoh, you've done it now, giggles,” Dick teased, switching tactics to using one hand to squeeze at the side of Tim’s ribs and the other to deliver nibbling pinches into the sensitive spots between the bones. There was a real chance Bruce hadn't heard Tim’s plea for help, but the man seemed to have a sixth-sense for these things. Just in case, Dick wanted to use what remaining time he had left wisely–aka by reducing Tim to happy, wheezy tears.
Tim was in hysterics and nearing the end of his ticklish sentence when Dick felt big hands grab from under his arms and lift him from behind. His immediate reflex was to try to headbutt the person (almost definitely Bruce) in the nose, but probably-Bruce seemed to anticipate this, pulling Dick in close to his chest and wriggling his fingers under Dick’s arms.
Dick flailed, kicking his legs out and trying to escape while attempting to hold in laughter. The only problem was, this meant that not only was he running out of breath, but he couldn't stop the snorts escaping him.
“Don't try to escape, chum.” Okay, definitely Bruce, the asshole. “You'll only tire yourself out faster.” Between the blush steadily crawling down his neck and the ticklish sensations under his arms while trapped in Bruce’s hold, Dick hardly noticed as Bruce backed into the chair at the batcave’s desk.
“I wanna help,” a slightly hoarse voice called from the mats. Dick shook his head through his laughter–it was bad enough being subjected to this treatment by Bruce, he couldn't stand the embarrassment of Tim seeing it, let alone joining in.
Luckily, Bruce seemed to get the memo, since he said, “you should go get some water, Tim. Oh and talk to your friends, they've been messaging you for a while now.”
“Oh shoot, it's Minecraft night,” Tim said, his voice getting further away through his sentence. When Bruce’s fingers finally stilled, Dick opened his arms to see that only he and Bruce were left in the batcave.
“Is that why you came down? To tell him about his friends’ messages?” Dick asked, a little breathless. Bruce chuckled from behind and tightened his grip on him.
“Partly. I'm afraid I heard him shout me for help too, though, Dick. You know what happens next.”
Dick went back to trying to escape while Bruce just leant back in his chair, chuckling deeply again at Dick’s pitiful attempts to get away from him. When Bruce continued to just sit there, Dick (definitely trying to escape and not at all trying to provoke Bruce into tickling him, absolutely not) grabbed one of Bruce’s arms and bit down. It wasn't as hard as he could've bitten the man–far from it, infact–but it was definitely enough to sting.
Bruce hardly flinched, but the fact that it was noticeable meant that Dick was in deep shit. He turned to look at Bruce and maybe apologise, but immediately started laughing at the annoyed look on Bruce’s face. He felt like a giddy little kid again, riling his dad up until he was swept up for tickles.
“I think,” Bruce started, hands staying crossed round Dick but trailing further down until landing on his thighs. Fuck. “That somebody must want tickles pretty bad if he's biting me about it.”
Dick could feel his pinkened cheeks burning and he couldn't help but snicker with a mix of embarrassment and excitement. He turned to look away from Bruce again, unable to face that fond yet teasing look. As soon as he did, Bruce struck.
The feeling of Bruce squeezing the fronts of Dick’s thighs in quick succession had him spasming like he was being electrocuted. Nothing could've prevented the screech that left him before he started squirming again.
“NAHAT THEHEHERE,” Dick cackled, snorting when Bruce’s hands ‘accidentally’ squeezed too close to Dick’s knees. “I-” snort- “CAHAN’T!”
“You had no problem tormenting your little brother’s worst spot, Dickie. I'm not even tickling your knees,” Bruce teased, his voice tickling Dick’s neck causing goosebumps to appear. “Here, I'll be even nicer to you.”
Bruce stayed at Dick's thighs, but only squeezed one at a time, alternating which one at random. Each time he switched which leg he was squeezing, Dick’s legs hiked up, as if trying to get away but only getting closer to the tickling hands.
“There, now you only have to worry about one leg at a time. You're welcome, sweetheart.”
Dick would've snarled back if he could but, as it was, he just snorted more, trying to elbow Bruce’s stomach but unable to do so from how he was still stuck in the man’s arms.
“B-Beheehee,” Dick gasped, falling back into snorting, hiccuping laughter halfway through.
“Ok, one last thing then we're done, alright?” Bruce assured, hands pausing their evil squeezing. Though Dick was grateful for the break to breathe, a ridiculous, childish part of him was disappointed that his dad would stop playing with him soon (even if it was a very tickly kind of play).
He knew it was kind of ridiculous to be so desperate for his dad’s attention at his age, and it was bordering on selfish considering how busy Bruce was with day work, night work and his siblings, but he couldn't help it. Deep down he'd still be that little boy performing for a parent’s attention.
“Ready?” Bruce asked, breaking him out of his thoughts. His hands were tapping at Dick’s thighs in a way that made him jittery with nerves, while his head had moved closer to Dick’s neck.
Without waiting for a reply, Bruce blew a raspberry against the side of Dick’s neck, while he leant down (squishing Dick in his hold abit) to pinch at Dick’s knees.
The fight immediately left Dick as he dissolved into breathless cackles, hands clinging onto Bruce’s wrists for dear life. The two different, tickly sensations at such far away parts of his body seemed to combine, making it feel as though he was being tickled everywhere at once, the sensations tingling across his skin.
“DAHAD PLEHEHEASE-” Dick screeched as Bruce blew another raspberry at the other side of his neck halfway through the plea. It was completely evil of him and had Dick’s nerves lighting up all over again.
Eventually Bruce stopped tickling and just held Dick against him, leaning back against his chair again to let Dick breathe. Weirdly, Dick felt content, like he'd gotten what he hadn't realised he'd wanted all along. Huh.
“There's my sweet boy,” Bruce hummed, kissing Dick’s clothed shoulder. Dick rolled his eyes, ignoring how he flushed under Bruce’s knowing gaze.
Maybe his dad knew how much a part of Dick missed when it was just the two of them, before he had to compete against a dozen little siblings for Bruce’s attention. Maybe Dick could be okay with that, as long as it meant he got to play with his dad again sometimes, even if it was just being tickled to tears.
As Dick felt himself drifting off, he heard an exasperated but fond chuckle from above him. The rest of his siblings would have to wait for Dick’s tickly attention until he woke up. Right now, he was a kid again, falling asleep under his dad’s safe watch.
