Sorry, I realised that last question was very intrusive.
Not at all! I wouldn’t have answered if it made me feel uncomfortable, so don’t worry about it.

@anon: nope
GPOY, birthday edition. Trying not to freak out about turning 27, because Al Hamdulillah (obviously) but also I'm almost 30 Insha Allah and I have literally achieved nothing in life except getting a medical degree. Yikes. Also, had to work until 9 PM and I only jokingly whined about it a couple of times so I guess you could say I'm a real adult now. And also: what am I still doing on this website?
Just came back from a 2-week vacation and there's a spider the size of my hand in my bathtub.
Goodbye.
Wanted to post a picture from Athens
But then I made the criticical error of checking my work mail and saw I had an email from the place where I have to do my weekendshifts to tell me I can't wear hijab while I work there. They email me this in August. After I've worked weekends there for almost a year. So now instead of enjoying my holiday, I'll be thinking about how to deal with this when I get home.
Feeling bad/sad/like a failure and I'm just really counting down the days till I can go on holiday Insha Allah.
Also on call this and next Sunday night, so that's always a bummer.
Have a ton of stuff to do, so I watched Order of the Phoenix instead.
Will Harry Potter ever stop giving me all the sad feels? Probably not.
Going through old holiday pictures and missing Sweden.
Was gonna write a sappy post about how after 4-ish years of knowing each other online, I finally met my Tumblr sister in real life yesterday and got to hold her baby and eat pizza with her.
But honestly, I'm just really grateful that I met such a kind soul on this stupid website and that she welcomed me with open arms. Love you, @illuminatetheskyyy (even with your accent ;) )
A drawing of me, a walkie talkie and a sticker of Belle. Thanks, kid. Hashtag perks of family medicine. Also hashtag it's almost 10 PM and I'm still at work. Ha.
So tired of these worthless pieces of scum using religion as an excuse for their savagery.
For Allah? How about you go home and fast for Allah, pray for Allah, be kind for Allah, be good to others for Allah.
Y’know, like Allah actually asks you to in the Quran.
“...but do thou good, as Allah has been good to thee, and seek not (occasions for) mischief in the land: for Allah loves not those who do mischief."
Exam tomorrow and I would just rather not.
Du’a is very welcome, as always.
Friday vibes. Thanks for the ice cream, boss. Getting the last wiggles out before Ramadan really starts (also eating pizza while I type this).
Giving Trump the welcome he deserves. Keep your filth out of my country, Donald. (And shut your trap during the NATO summit tomorrow.)
Passing by the park on my way to a patient and I wish I were sitting in that gazebo all day instead of working until 9 PM.
Of course it starts pouring the minute I leave work to bike home. I was already completely soaked and then I got splashed by a car so I looked like a drowned rat, and also there was literally water in my All Stars. And also I'm on call tomorrow so cheers to the weekend, I guess?
Is it Friday yet? So tired, so hungry.
