This is how Iām sitting in the sun, but yes, taking a step back shouldnāt be shamed, breaks are healthy, and helpful for your mental and physical health.
Donāt ruin fandoms by being hateful and toxic, itās already hard on here sometimes and people come here to escape for fuck sake. Letās not ruin peaceful spaces with stupid shit.
Thought Iād share some thoughts Iāve been having for a bit as Iāve been a little inactive for the past month or so regarding fics.
My mind has been mush and truly hasnāt been in it for the last couple of weeks and itās been an unbelievable struggle even outlining things recently.
Itās been a rough couple of months for me in general with school and the stress of that has been coming down on me tenfold because of my upcoming placements and all the things I need to do to be able to participate in that.
Evidently, my writing has been greatly affected by this, and Iām not uploading as much as I used to (nor as much as I would like/prefer). Coming to terms with the fact Iām burned out and just donāt have the drive (while also constantly being exhausted) has been difficult and I havenāt been able to admit it to myself until now. The denial stage is real folks.
All this to say, Iām going to be going on a break from writing. Iām going to clear my head, take my time, and hopefully at some point Iāll get my spark back. Iāll still be active in the Lew fandom of courseāuploading new content or photos etcābut for right now my works will currently be on hold, or have unexpected/unplanned posting dates.
I know with some of my WIPs the anticipation is high, and I apologize for letting you guys down, but I have to come to terms and be honest with myself about being burnt out and stuck in a position where I have all the ideas in my head but just canāt write it down for the life of me.
I hope everyone understands this, and I hope that at some point, whether itās in the near future or in a month or two, Iāll be able to get back on the writing train with all the amazing Lew fic writers here and continue my work.
(Sorry Iāve been M.I.A, school has been killing me, had a lot of stuff to do, 4 quizzes, an in person simulation, tests that I need to study for. Got to see some cows yesterday though, so that brightened my day, and this did too!)
So Iāve watched remarkable bright creatures and is it just me or in some scenes Cameronās mannerisms has me thinking āJordan weaver still lives among usā like Cameron can literally be Jordanās less psychopathic twin brother that got separated at birth š
I can see it, Cameron is far more level headed than Jordan, and I could see the reunion being the most chaotic thing in the world š
