Project: Designing 2 Interactive Installation Arts for FIS Building
The Aim of this project is to enhance the sociability levels among the peers attending FIS, whilst also enhancing the overall link of the outsiders to the building itself.
The first installation art idea was to enhance the link of the outsiders to the building, and for this light Drapes were used which is to be hung from around 7 m high and these shall be flowing in that region creating a tranquil atmosphere, whilst creating a space, where people are naturally attracted due to its white nature, symbolizing peace and the location which is almost at middle of both the street and the site, interacting to both sides.
The second installation art idea was to bring the peers together socially, and for this, white inflated balls of around 150 mm diameter were used, as these balls shall be placed within the site, in several layers occupying the whole region, and students thereby must interact with them as they can walk among them, and these balls with some amount of helium, shall rise with a simple touch and can be used as a playing source as they can fall and sit and it would still be light as a feather.
So since the drapes are planted within the premises as well, just as the balls will be in few amounts accessible to the outsiders, hence when the installations work together they can have both a sense of peace or repose and as a well as a joyous nature to be reveled about. “REVEL+ REPOSE = REVOSE”
