Point of sale research and inspiration
Possible supermarket spaces, where are people most likely to look at, where can I advertise my brand?
Developing mocks, still in progress
Needs brighter colour, further refinement and detail
Experimenting with colour to find the write colour palette, which reflects the main word on the packaging- e.g Stimulate.
Further refinement, playing with layout and system to make the design as easy to understand as possible, also trying to work out a colour palette which works as a set and as individual products in a store.
Working towards a final design, adding context and creating the design to scale
Name and logo development
Not wanting to spend to much time overthinking the name I went for something simple which lends it’s self to the concept of my idea- See-through food. I wanted the design to be simple, playful and something which could sit on many different colours etc with no problem so it would be easy to apply and for people to recognise as the brand grew.
Physical experiments, seeing how colour or paper could effect the meaning of the messages I have chosen;
Bliss for muscles- protein, chicken
Enrich your blood- vitamins and iron, spinach
Delightful in small doses- chocolate
Also exploring using slap on stickers over existing packaging.
The white gives attention to the message and the type and doesn’t confuse the message. The simplicity against busy food packaging would hopefully draw attention.
Type choices and manipulation
Some of the development stages from my design process.
Tightening up the design helped to get across my message better but it still needs better context and development so it’s as easy to understand as possible.
