Emily K. Chalko is finally taking the leap into social media and is excited to share with the world her love of the arts, baked goods, health and fitness, charitable interests and design. I am passionate about art (photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, film), dance, live music, great food (obsessions include frozen yogurt, all things sweet, guacamole, whole foods freshly ground honey roasted peanut butter, dark chocolate, grilled sweet potato fries and fish tacos), travel (there are so many places I'd love to see), design, reading (shout out to my book club) and consistently learning. I'm not yet sure what this blog will contain but imagine it will include posts of local events and gems I've found in Boston and New England, favorite products and stores, healthy but indulgent recipes of my own and those of my favorite bloggers as well as things that I find inspiring... To start, some favorites of mine are Nicola's Home in Yarmouth Maine (for stunning home furnishings and design inspiration), AG jeans, coconut macaroons from the Thinking Cup in Boston, sushi from Douzo in Boston, all of the fresh pressed juices from Cocobeet in Boston, the Adventurer bowl with sprouted legumes and avocado from Life Alive in Cambridge, MA, the Align pant from Lululemon, Pranvayu yoga classes with David Magone wherever he is teaching (typically at Equinox Boston), Brigham's Coffee Elan Frozen Yogurt (seriously my favorite frozen confection of all time! - it tastes like ice cream but isn't bad for you), Ginger Chews by the Ginger People (to help with sugar cravings), all things Netflix (I'm a sucker for a good documentary), Vanilla Orange Sparkling Water by Polar (I recently made the leap from still water to bubbles and while making my own bubbles with my soda stream is amazing.. this flavor is too good not to buy), Downton Abbey, Duxbury Beach in Duxbury, MA....
