Leon and Claire a few weeks after Grace and Emily visited them and Emily calls them Grandpa and Grandma:
"I never thought at age 47 I'd be a grandmother already. "
"I...didn't think about that. "
"Yeah. The people at Terasave are so confused when I speak about Emily and calling her my granddaughter. The looks on their faces are awesome. "
"Sherry makes fun of me for adopting another one. She's glad she's got a sister at least. A niece too. You should see how Emily interacts with Sherry. "
"Oh I've seen it. Sherry adores her. Plus she understands Emily more than any of us. But..." Claire looks at Leon.
"How do you feel about being Grandpa?"
"I mean it, Claire. What were you expecting?" Leon laughs.
"Maybe some dread. The idea of Leon S. Kennedy being a grandpa? Wonder what the female DSO members are thinking about that discovery."
"Same way they found out I'm a married man. Flattering..." Leon takes a pause.
"To be honest, I never expected it. Not in the way you're treating."
"Emily is an extension of Grace and Grace is an extension of me. So much I saw of her, I saw myself in." Leon exhales. "So for me to be a grandfather means there's a lot of ups and downs for Emily to see. "
"Ah. You're worried about letting her down. You know you won't. When have you ever let any of your girls down?"
"Sherry was taken in by Simmons."
"You spoke with her almost every day. When there was a day off, and the two of us had it, we spent it with her. And remember that one time she got hurt pretty bad and you dropped everything to see if she was okay?"

"What I'm saying is that you're not going to disappoint Emily."
